Please enough of this. No one was a victim. It was clearly stated what the miner did and you bought it. Live with it. ASIC is a one trick pony. Actually I also bored your depreciatory posts. if the company had sold , %50 fewer unit D3 was a goldmine now. OK you are right. Thats not realistic. ignore it. if the company had sold , %30 fewer unit , probably nobody would complain right now. But They had sold more than needed, knowing the consequences as is now No one could predict that but they realy could know that. . we are not stupid as you imply. but they fooled us willingly. We are all frustrated D3 Antminer, and i understand you , and yes probably they know what they do, by selling so much d3 miner, may be we can hope for a good fork on x11 , and i m scared it will be same for l3+ soon , but it s not the topic here to debate about that please My intention is never to argue with anyone. I am sharing the change.org link because this is the only way to reach Bitmain . if we can get their attention, maybe they offer a solution , probably it will be the most proper way . I never judge anoyone's thougths. I expect same thing for myself. if we dont want to same thing for L3+ , We definetely have to get their attention about selling limitless unit. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, I'm newbii on this forum and most of the time just read a lot without posting but I just want to thank you for your hard work for making all D3 owner a bit more optimistic !! I will wait a bit for you're next release and try your firmware update. Thanks again from a poor French who pay his electricity higher than you in US or elsewhere...

Well said. Changes start with one person who is willing to take actions. There will be many more followers and there will be NAY sayers. It is important to stick to your beliefs and move forward.

Instructions: set the miner frequency at 400mhz and set your fan speed at 25% before flashing. After flashing, check the advanced settings page and start at the lowest voltage setting. From there increase your frequency to see how high you can go at the lowest voltage setting.
the fan is at 25%.. does it means 25% run on initial startup to eliminate the max rpm during startup? What is the fan speed when at full hashing operation? remain at 25% or increases accordingly to running temperature? p/s I am from a hot climate country..and running with natural air ventilation without AC

The percentage you give in is the speed at full hashing operation.

L3+ will stay profitable until a better version comes out which isn't close just yet...

I was also working on figuring out how to get the miner to reboot as soon as the hashing rate would drop below a certain value. Since you are looking into adding an optimizing feature into the firmware, could you have a look into this too? So lets say, hashing rate drops below 13gh/s, trigger a save&apply somewhere (faster than reboot), or a reboot.

i plugged wattmeter : my end november batch is 15 Ghz at 680 watts at the wall (Frequency : 419mhz , asic V. : default setting) To resume i think the priority for next update is - Not crazy fan at swithing pool & on fault statut (keep checked fan speed be perfect ) - Asic voltage fix Suggestion : - option to reboot on fault and/or ignore statut low hashrate for people with hashboard sometimes xxx... - hard log page of last reboot, may be can use it to dont have fee at every reboot if ever did this hour. - dont think it possible for control board but frequency setting per hashboard ? Wondering in miner status > Antminer > HW is the hardware error number ? was scared this morning i get xxx error on one hasboard , i got to unplug pci reboot , without and re plug to fix

Not sure if I understand you, but you replaced the existing fans with other types. Which ones? Please show me the information from the kernel log so I can analyze the problem you have.
