My greatest fear is when my account is being hacked and all of my bitcoins get robbed. But i think it depends on how I handle my coins. And also I am really afraid that bitcoin might face out in the community or will be banned in my country, all of my efforts, hardwork, patience and perseverance will be wasted if it will happen. All the coins i have and will be invested will be dumped, that's the worst scenario. That is why everytime I receive tokens or coins, I immediately trade it but of course i'm still waiting for the right time to trade it.

For me, the biggest fear in holding bitcoin is if my bitcoin is hacked. Now hackers have sprung up and taken action in every way, not a difficult thing for hackers to take our bitcoin account.

My fear is not getting enough bitcoins to make more profits than I should have. It would be such a huge waste of potential if we don't go all in on bitcoins. But then again, who would predicy how much of a "good investment" are bitcoins, right? Maybe anhtime it could crash. Maybe tomorrow it might reach  $20k all of a sudden.

My biggest fear ever since 2014 (when I first started collecting coins) is that someone would hack into my wallet and steal my coins. That was why I was seriously considering purchasing a hardware wallet. But then, it is also not 100% safe, and it exposes me to additional risks as well. If we store our coins in a hardware wallet, then they can be confiscated by the authorities.

The only thing that scares me with my bitcoins is when it becomes impossible to cash out meanwhile nobody (merchants) accepts bitcoin as payment. But I doubt it would happen because the silk road will always be there to accept bitcoins.

I have the same thought. There is no other fear that will make bitcoiners fear so much about bitcoin.
So when nobody accept bitcoin mean the value is zero.
Look at the recent price i think not possible it will happen.
of course it will not happen especially today because users strongly believe in bitcoin and let alone users are still coming and bitcoin still in development. one of my fears as a bitcoin holder is panic selling and sometimes it also makes you afraid and panicked and doing things out of your control.

As a bitcoin holders my fear is that the value of bitcoin will fall. And also if they will hacked my wallet and steal my digital money. In addition, my fear is if the government or banks will not allow or declare that it is illegal to use bitcoin and if they will give sanction to those bitcoiners.

For me, the biggest fear in holding bitcoin is if my bitcoin is hacked. Now hackers have sprung up and taken action in every way, not a difficult thing for hackers to take our bitcoin account.
All you can do on a practical level is separating credentials to access funds onto several devices. 2FA, these second factor authorisations.
And spread funds across several places.

The theoretical level is cold storage. Nobody can hack a cold store. A legit, real one on several papers.
It's theory since in practice this is a currency, and we are traders.

my biggest fear as a holder of bitcoin is that its value might suddenly goes down and worst , bitcoin became value less. But I think these will not happen, even if the value of the bitcoin will go down, there will still be a sign and people can prepare for it. These are my only fear for bitcoin.

I think the greatest fear of a Bitcoin holder is to have its value goes down. Because today the value of it is very high and there is a prediction that it will goes up in a few months.

I have no issues with the hackers or scammers as I take maximum precaution while holding or making any transaction from it. However, I am afraid of the possibility of the negative legal move from the government due to the users who are using it for illegal activities. Like fiat currency, Bitcoin and alt-coin are accessible to all including criminals but I doubt that government would pay any attention to such argument. In worst case scenario government can ban the BTC/Fiat currency exchange that would boost the shadow usage of it and might boost the black market. I am worried about the possibile consequences of any negative move from the government.

The greatest fear regarding bitcoin is to the legality issue and the digital nature of bitcoin. Bitcoin is digital currency and this is highly valuable for the users. It is good for now because it provide a good profit to the investors of users who want to invest this money as it is also fearful because if this currency not exist anymore in the future then what will happened to the holders of this currency.

"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

My fears with be when Bitcoin fells and will have no value at all, but I hope it won't happen anyway. People will support Bitcoin as it is until the end. Smiley

Getting hacked is one thing, but your wallet provider doing the hacking? Even worst. That one website you totally entrusted your savings with is also the one hacking into your wallet is just plain old wrong. I hope we get a safe storage for your bitcoins so we don't have to always worry for for the security of our bitcoins.

If you want to have a safe place for your bitcoins then it is the best to just put your bitcoin in a paper wallet because that will be the best option for you to be safe and to be a good bitcoin holder since the price of bitcoin is going up and it is attracting a lot of hackers to get into your private things and steal your bitcoin and they cannot hack and steal your bitcoin if you will put it on a physical offline wallet.

As a bitcoin holder one of my greatest fear is that it is unstable, from time to time its value is changing, it maybe high now then later on its low. Also, it isn't safe it can be hacked so you have to make sure that you will secure it.

My greatest fear is when bitcoin will turned into dust, no value. And all our investments will turn into nothing, There is still a very low possibility that it might happen in the near future. I just hope this will never happen.
You are very right at this time the bitcoin is bring use by the people as the illegal currency and not all the people are using the bitcoin as for the people. It is up to the people to but the bitcoin and if the people are now holding the bitcoin for the betterment and future of the bitcoin is the bright for the case of the profit, I hope I will use the bitcoin and I will use the bitcoin per day.
