This is absolutely fabulous, not just for the tour but also for our website and for new users to read!  It answers a LOT of questions people keep asking.  I can also use this to respond to some of my recurring e-mails!

BEAUTIFUL JOB!

Thanks Cheesy Togo also, without you I would have spent a lot more time on this. (Btw Togo, I'm also working on what would be a good website-layout for biblepay.org, and I appreciate what you're doing immensely also.)

Anyway, I just made an updated 'general edition' of the PowerPoint. I deleted unnecessary slides and added the staking requirements that Lichtsucher made for his guide, so the PowerPoint is both 'pre- and post-April 1st proof' as of now.

I think it is good enough to provide general information to people as-is (Reddit, emails). But I'd still like to receive feedback on grammar/technicalities/wording, so I can make it as best as I can  Smiley

Biblepay PowerPoint 'general edition':

Nice work Jaap.
Maybe it'll be fine to have there info how to get BBP out of paper wallet.
I think that it is important info for unbanked Smiley
Have a mobile wallet will be very handy feature for this Sad

LiveCoinWatch has added our Max Supply as 5,200,000,000
Ive also contacted CoinMarketCap to add that and add our forum link as well

===

Another Topic, Telegram, the private/secure/encrypted chat messaging service, is really big in the crypto world,

Someone already claimed the channel BiblePay and has 14 members and messages about other coin's airdrops periodically
MarginPro claimed BiblePayForum and has 44 members, Ive seen miners in there talking
I claimed BiblePayBBP and have 3 members

Im not sure who MarginPro is, but Ive reached out to him

So we have the dilemma of which channel to support and advertise?,
do we trust the people running the other channels?,
and do we want to go the route of contacting Telegram for us to get full control of the BiblePay channel?

I havent advertised Telegram because Ive been unsure of what route to go

===

In a similar Note, a miner named Matt owns the BiblePay Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/BiblePay/
He hasn't made any posts since January,
Is anyone interested to run the Facebook group?

Matt in the past has been open to adding admins, but I dont have a Facebook account,
and I havent been in contact with him for a long time but I could reach out to him again

and we can also go the route of contacting Facebook to get control if needed/wanted

===

I currently own the Twitter, Reddit and Discord,
Im open to giving others full power on these if interested and if active/established in BiblePay (and in case I die or something LOL)

Jaap is an admin on Reddit
Luke is an admin on Discord
no one else has access to the Twitter, but I am open to using a service to allow that

Anyways, just trying to get the social media ducks in a row, Telegram and Facebook are both important avenues of communication

Update on PODC:
I see we are still not receiving tasks for Rosetta, ARGH.  So I just moved the network into DR (disaster-recovery) mode #2.  This goes into effect in 6 more blocks.  This means that the sanctuaries will not require Task Weight until further notice.  Starting tomorrow, as long as you have UTXO Weight and magnitude, you should receive a superblock payment.

The outbound Compassion letters have been sent to the translators (we had about 30 this month, a lot lower than normal most likely due to the heat mining devastating the number of miners on pool.biblepay.org).  We could use some new letter writing volunteering in the pool in April.

We did have 10 additional letters generated this month for BLOOM (one from a predatory zookeeper and another from a nascar driver).  I modified our monthly batch job to have the capability to send those to BLOOM via e-mail (Jennifer handles them at BLOOM) and they have been forwarded.

not all my machines have tasks, but it is beeter than in the morning

problem could be users like onichan, who starts many machines for short time. they downloaded lots of task and not solving all of them. after few days machine is destroyed and replaced by new one... - with all downloaded tasks, they are blocked until deadline

So right now everything looks A-OK for midnight US time for our large monthly superblock (it has something like 90 votes).  Our small superblock is < 5, so we are OK now.

Will check every half hour until it passes and update if anything changes.

I am also terribly confused as to what the heck has gone on, I mined this quite a bit when it first came out, getting many coins per hour. now i get less than 1 coin an hour? and that coin is like .003 cents? I understand this is not all about profit, and have no issue with that. BUT, with no real information on what quite a few of these changes are..  like the whole RAC/staking thing. If i have to have 500k coins to get full mining reward, that is just crazy.  Also, there is absolutely no clear information on this whole staking portion..when you stake, generally you get a chunk of coins a day.. i've been mining again for over a week, on a ryzen 7 1700x, and havent even recieved a payout, yet i keep losing coins to the PODC Update.

People should not have to surf through 300 pages of forums, to understand the significant changes that have been made. It would be very beneficial to get links on the biblepay.org website to reddit or other posts that actually discuss some of this. I totally understand you are trying to get people that are new to crypto also, and you do not want to freak them out and lose them, but you also can not alienate more in depth people and make information darned near impossible to find.

I've been "mining"/"staking"  PODC for a week also, 8 core not one coin & mag is 0 my rac is not zero and never included in any superblock(way over 50k coins also in wallet) so it stays mag 0. I do have a free heater on the positive note via the 8 core.
(I liked the idea of using rosetta but I've not been included all week in a superblock )

Hi ACP, I'll try to help if you like. First off, could you please post results of

exec getboincinfo

then please try

exec podcupdate true

Please also check your transactions and let me know if your PODC updates have been coming out.
Please also let me know what version BBP wallet you are running.

I assume that
a) you are on Rosetta and on team BiblePay
b) you leave your computer on and BBP wallet open

(I believe it is a matter of being included into the first superblock to start the process of  Mag , my task weight and weight are 100 & 50k ect ect, maybe must keep patient because I can't see anything I'm doing wrong here)

I think that becoming World #1 Rosetta Team in 20 days is an amazing achievement. We must take advantage and use it as a PR topic. Can we publish and spread the news on different social and crypto media? Some sort of "press release".

Hi ACP, sorry mate it doesn;t look like you are in the budget or even on the pool list.
I think there is still something wrong.

I've seen you are not in the next PoDC block either.

What's more strange, I don't even see your address in biblepay block explorer. You are supposed to be staking through this address
http://explorer.biblepay.org:3001/address/BRSToqMYBBPADDYuXpHAaBQ26rub3Nv

It would be good to check one of your PoDC transaction ids to learn more about your problem. There is something going on there.

He did that himself Wink

But we do need your full CPID in order to be able to help you.

Also, if you been mining with 8 cores for one week, and your RAC is only 189.16, then clearly something is wrong.
