Rob,

I never meant to allude that I want you or anyone off the project.  When you replied with the comment:  What does my mining have to do with letter writing, to me, it inferred that you don't support having to go and write letters to orphans if you are doing all this cancer mining.   (In contrast to, Oh I didnt mean to recommend people to go to purepool to get around letter writing).  And I didnt see you sticking up for the orphan communications that is what the main pool has, so obviously it sounded like we should recommend capitualating the main pool and therefore have an empty transmission to compassion every month.

Anyways, I was just recommending it because I see less people having issues with it.

"I would like to write more but you'll probably just delete my posts."
Im sorry that you are starting to have such a bad attitude and animosity for the project, and are taking things the wrong way.  I've done nothing but service this project with all my effort since the beginning, so I dont know what else I can do to get along with you.  It does require a good attitude to work together with people and a certain amount of trust to serve as Christian brothers.

Well, this is mainly because of you and I'm also sorry it has become this way. I think everyone here wants the project to succeed but the way your treating people is not how Jesus taught us to be. Some have spoken up and some have kept silent but everyone who has been following this forum knows how it is.

Regarding the comment for the pool "having issues" - issues which you don't know what they are, I guess what we need to do is ask a general consensus of people if they have any problems with the first pool, pool.biblepay.org and I'll work with each of you individually with *ANY SINGLE FLAW* that exists in the pool.  Because I dont really accept your synopsis about the pool is malfunctioning because you are reading into "old gossip" that random people floated.  And here is a couple pieces of private info that probably started that:  One, I had 10 people who continuously create new accounts and upvote their own letters within their own household, and since I dont tolerate corruption, I deleted them.  Two, I have a few miners who are copying the wallet.dat out to 50 machines and trying to mine with one CPID across all the machines, and the pool auto-bans these users now - but I do allow mining of up to 10 machines in the pool.  Thats it, thats the entirety of the one-off rules- no corruption - no mass mining.  (Why no mass mining?  Its because we require a distinct CPID per block with magnitude now, so it would be unfair to award one person who exploits their own cpid through the pool at the expense of the other cpids - if you want to do that, please solo mine that way).

Look, I'm sorry if I offended you by recommending the other pool but if someone asks me, that's what I will recommend.

It seems you really don't like me and I ask for your forgiveness. I'll try not to bother you from now on.

..., and now for the first time I am seeing this leaderboard issue (but havent received one email about it yet), and its already fixed- but the pool is being marked as "having issues" - I would recommend the other pool.

Just to know for the future, how should I send an email to you if I see another problem with the pool?

Hi, How can I try the "solo mining"?

And how does it work? When the "Biblepay Core Wallet" finds a block it gets paid immediately?

Thanks.

Solo mining would be when you're mining and you don't have the pool info in your biblepay.conf but do have gen=1 and genproclimit=(some number).  You'll mine solo, and if you end up finding a block you'll get paid about 500 give or take for a solo block.

you'll get paid about 500 give or take for a solo block.

Sorry for my poor english, but what does it means "give or take"?  There is any action expected after finding a block? Or the reward will go automatically to my wallet?

"Give or take" just means "roughly" - in that a reward will be ABOUT 500. As for your other question, yes, solo mining block rewards will be deposited automatically.

rob, last payout was not as you wrote, that if somebody stake 20% then he get 20%
check this: https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/podc/user/1987688/
he had 20% and got 40%
i still think it is as i wrote, that user will have 20% shares, and block reward will be divided by sum of all shares, so payout for one share will not be 20% but more (depends on how many users staking 100%)

Yes, I also received only a little payout and the explorer says I staked 50k, although I had (already since yesterday) almost 500k staked and several podcupdates going through.
However I think this is correct, since the payout for the next superblock is decided at the moment of the last one, i. e. approx. 24h before. Tomorrow's payout should be as expected. Wink

Just think about the 13.6M BBP that needs to be reserved to be fully staked! I'm putting most of my free stake into a sanctuary (with a second one coming soon) and can't afford to let my RAC get much above 10k as a result...

Hi rob,

You're doing a great work here, thanks for all the work you've done.

However, since I see that there are mentions of pool not working correctly, I have unfortunately had some problems with pool.biblepay.org. When I point my machines to pool.biblepay.org, I see them more in 'missing miners' section than in 'my miners' (active ones). I have tried once again today after you said that you fixed something on it, and it still misbehaves. From the client part, I've seen no errors, but still for some reason, for bigger part of time my worker is in 'missing miners' part, thus results to missing rewards from a lot of mined blocks. I have just now pointed one worker again to mine on pool.biblepay.org, and I'll update with more info on current behavior.

Hi Mike,

We are apparently not communicating well.  It's not that I dont like you, but you keep saying when someone asks me Ill just recommend purepool, I dont really care Mike, Im not offended, I like purepool, it just shows bad judgement on your part to do that without running both pools - it shows lack of judgement.   Anyway I see there are posts now about the pool and Ill make sure they are fixed next.

Quote
"The way your treating people is not how Jesus taught us to be. Some have spoken up and some have kept silent but everyone who has been ..."

I guess this is the comment that sort of exposes the entire problem with our communication:  You said Im not treating people the way Jesus would act, and Its Me and its not the rest of the world LOL.  Alright so my side of the story is I say that everyone I either deleted a post for or argued back was because THEY had been acting with NON CHRISTIAN VALUES, not Me, I'm deleting posts instead of spending my time arguing with people with senseless waste of time and energy on this forum.  And of course this brings me to the conclusion, that if you view those other people as the ones that were 'correct' with 'good judgement' then I surely believe you dont have the Holy Spirit in you.  Because I contend that I've been maintaining the light - by not arguing, and making overall decisions that keep the Christian values here.   Obviously with a lot of subprojects and subjects there are bound to be disagreements, and no one can be perfect, and I wouldnt even expect everyone to like me, but your living a fallacy to believe that a lead dev could start this entire project and make it this far without having 1% naysayers and snags like this.    Lets go through the list:  Nerfherder - excessive nasty language- adrianbits - railing against BBP incessantly with actual bald face lies (IE saying we were corrpupt) - Slovakia - Non-Christian posts laced with profanity ....   etc.  So it boils down to whose side do you want to be on?    I'm not giving this project over to corrupted minds.   And btw, what I think you are referring to about Jesus is forgiving and turning the other cheek.

I see him yes, and I see what he got last night (20% of his normal payment).

Yes, it was as I wrote.... I said a couple days ago that the 50% that the big dogs Lose would be spread among the bottom 50% of the team... and here is actually what happened last night (I was watching):

45% of the UTXO at 100% was staked - leaving a whopping 55% bonus for everyone else.
I was one example CPID who normally has a mag of 8, I had a mag of 12.9 last night, giving me a 45% or so bonus.  Im living proof  Smiley
Im cpid ca89* if you want to look at me.

So I do not understand your perspective.  These people like "W.D." who had a magnitude of 90 last night and sent 5% in for the UTXO lost almost all of it to the rest of us.

Dave-

The easy way to see this is to look @ the pool superblock view report, and highlight your row yellow, scroll to the top and memorize where the utxo/utxo weight columns are, scroll back down and check your UTXO/UTXOWeight values - see if your magnitude reflects your utxo stake level.

I checked over 10 last night and they look on the money....

Yours is easy, you were in the contract with 0 UTXO weight on those 4 records... You can type 'exec utxoreport' and see the missing age ranges also (from your wallet).

This is what I said: There is a fixed amount in the kitty, and if some people stake Lower than 100% UTXO levels, they receive the Low payments, but the rest is still remaining in the kitty to be split among everyone else ....  thats what happened last night.

Thanks, lets get this baby back up - Im cleaning it up now.  Please give me an example minername that is showing up in missing section, that should not be, and I will trace it.

So, I'm currently mining on workerid=rols-4. It looks like the missing miners sections is working as it should, and that the problem is that the pool is not 'accepting' my hashpower, i.e. it is just sometimes showing my worker in 'leaderboard' section.

Note 1. I was also mining on pool.biblepay.org a couple of days ago, and I was checking the pool several times a day. Half the time I saw my miners in leaderboard, half the time they were missing. And when I opened block distribution I saw that I missed my share for several blocks, thou I'm pretty sure all those miners were working all the time.

Note 2. I confirm I have no problems while mining on purepool with same miners.

Note 3. Don't know if it means something, but I saw these messages at one point recently:
"poolinfo1": "BNvQ5Txs1riZvuKA5W7prbtwx7PuSXXBwL; ",
"poolinfo2": "RM_04-02-2018 21:59:49; Submitting Solution 04-02-2018 21:59:51; Submitting Solution 04-02-2018 21:59:58; ",
At the moment of writing this post, I also saw a few 'submitting solution', but my worker is still not showing up on my leaderboard.

Note 4. I used pool.biblepay.org a month and two months ago, did not see this behavior, everything was working as it should.
