So we see that something like a real fight between Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash has started. While BTC fell and go on falling, Bitcoin Cash has shown a fantastic growth!
Does it mean that there is a possibility altcoin will be the winner?

There won't be other leader than BTC. BCH is only altcoin. Maybe it's a little stronger than BTC by tech, but community is confident in BTC much more than in any other alts.

And why do you think that bitcoin will stand and again gain strength?

bch is not going to replace bitcoin anytime soon. However, it could eventually grow at a faster rate than bitcoin. Then, if it surpassed bitcoin after some time of coexistence, changing the brand names would be highly confusing for the most people and probably damage both brands.  Once bitcoin is dethroned, this might have a very negative effect on the whole market and even crash it for long time if not forever, because people don`t want to invest in something that will again be replaced by a better coin in future.

I don't know, but in my opinion I think a lot of what is happening is the fear of missing out so ppl are pouring money to Bitcoin Cash now. Not sure if it'll last though, I think Bitcoin will be the long term winner

The event in the past few days is not a question of fight, it is an obvious attack on bitcoin and what we all stood for: LIBERTY! I do not even like mentionng that corporatist altcoin trying to be bitcoin. Their coin is fundamentally flawed and everybody will see the fraud very soon!

Unlikely. But it's always interesting to watch this kind of confrontation. It's like multiple champion fights against a cocky newcomer.

I don't think so.Even to say, I think this is impossible, you need to know that wu is very cunning, maybe tomorrow he will say, "I support BCH to get more BTC".You know, BCH can always be altcoin, so it's better to choose some good ICO tokens than BCH.

Bitcoin cash was raising it's flag for quite some time but eventually bitcoin is the which prevailed .
The only reason which I think is that the world is moving towards digital currency, so is obvious that Bitcoin cash can no longer compete BTC and never will.

Why everyone is always sure bch will kill bitcoin? Bitcoin is mother of bch, i never thought of getting there. In the end the bitcoin is always winning anything, just look at the current market, bch back slumped by almost a few per cent. Well, do you still think bch will replace bitcoin place? Maybe if bitcoin runs out or there is no more miners it could happen but still this does not change anything.

Bch had a quick run, but it can't compete with the age and notoriety of btc.

The stats suggest BCH will gain second place in the Total Market Cap behind BTC.
But it won't "beat" BTC. Nor replace or become of higher value.

I cannot see Ethereum lasting too much longer in second.

The BTC will win any fight, it may even lose its value, plus the alternative currencies only exist because of Bitcoin's marketing

I think the alts are rising but they are never going to reach and level with bitcoin. The market is very active in alts today compared to bitcoin and you can see that more projects are opening in alts than bitcoin and this is the reason its value decreases. But still, alts are somehow dependent on bitcoin so i cant say that they will rise above it.

We cannot say it for now. As we can surely see that bitcoin cash needs a long run to beat bitcoin because eventhough bitcoin is falling the price was like not affected on it.
