i want to hear more about this zerocoin update and what that will mean for the future of megacoin!
Like the post above me said.
http://zerocoin.org/
for info about it. No coin has it, not even bitcoin so, that's a huge plus.

To not bubble up the blockchain, the user maybe only need to switch on the zerocoin anonymizer on need. Otherwise the needed hdd space for the blockchain will be very huge.

But then you will have two kind of coins in the system, anonymous and not. Blacklists...

I'm pretty sure Kimoto will do something and adapt. You don't need or want 100% zerocoin without almost any modification in your coin.

eee it all sounds so exciting! a truly anonymous coin would poke at bitcoins flaws and be the bitcoins biggest rival.

idk if anon coin is truly anonymous but that has seen more that a 100% rise recently and wouldn't be surprised so see the same and greater for megacoin once it is anonymous as well.

As i understand, anoncoin isn't anonymous at all, becouse the blockchain is still parseable. So you can get tracked and the coin has the same anonymity like all the other altcoins.
The implementation of the zerocoin lib into MEGACOIN would bring the whole crypto currency thing to a new exciting level.
and maybe... we're a part of it... ;-)

ANC isn't really anonymous and it's nothing compared to zerocoin.

Anxious to hear updates on Zerocoin in MEC. I just read about it some more, and it's going to be great to get it implemented in MEC.

Thx for your hard work Kimoto!

probably wont hear about zerocoin updates for a while, Kimoto is great but he isnt super man. No one yet has been able to make zerocoin work with another coin SO FAR. zerocoin implementation will be no easy task.

will likely be a long wait, but probably still sooner than LTC on gox.

I'm no expert, but Zerocoin was designed for Bitcoin. Since Megacoin is the only other coin using the Bitcoin client, it's quite possible that no other current altcoin can use Zerocoin. Just speculating here, but I think it's safe to assume we will hear some news from Kimoto soon.
