The OP's original question "will the bitcoin reach $100 one day...?" has been answered,
BTC reached $1000, topic over.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Until we can buy stuff from China with BTC's it will level off. Whomever is involved in that needs a $10k negotiator and all the lobbyist they can afford, it would pay dividends.

I'm predicting it will hit $10,000 by 2015.
Bitcoin sat around $100 for months then suddenly shot up to $1000.
I'm hoping that we're in the phase where it sits around $1000 for months then suddenly shoots up to $10,000.

I'd say by 2015 it's possible for it to reach $15K at best and $7K if we're being pessimistic. |

It is absolutely possible, but I dont think it will happen. At last, I don't want it's value to raise that high. It will be more complicated to use the smaller and smaller denominations of BTC.

Hopefully $1500 by March. Some charts say we are undervalued right now and should even be around $2000 in March but we will see. |

It already did on theseast months. Regarding further growth I think it's highly possible if mass adaptation to bitcoins occur and more places and big markets accept it and the possitive press continue.
