which altcoin is more profitable than luxcoin ?

i trying to say that pools very unstable and in this reason even zec more profitable

Which are those unstable pools? I am mining this coin since 2 months ago and pools usually go fine. You maybe want to people stop mining luxcoin.

The diff have increased alot so would not be supprised Tongue For me yimp is working fine (or should i say it doesnt to put off miners? hehe).
And i both bought and are mining LUX. Got 30% of my portfolio in it actualy, as i think it is one of the most undervalued ones at the moment.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Is it syncing currently or just stuck at "11 weeks behind" status?

Yes, stuck at "11 weeks behind"
Delete everything from %appdata%/Lux directory except wallet.dat, download latest bootstrap https://bootstrap.luxcore.io/bootstrap.zip and unzip it to /Lux, run your 3.0.4 wallet
I first downloaded the Linux binary lux-qt, and it had this error:

./lux-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.8

So I ran "locate miniupnpc" and found it here "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libminiupnpc.so.10" which is a newer version so I downloaded the lux source to try that.

I built the Lux wallet from source on Ubuntu 16.04.03 64bit lux-qt version v4.0.0.0-587beac

I'm stuck at 12 weeks behind, I copied the bootstrap.dat file listed above to my .lux folder.

It started and said something about "importing from disk" for only a second or two, then went to syncing with network 12 weeks behind.

End of output of debug log:

I am thinking its choking on the bootstrap.dat file and stops.

Next i'm going to delete everything in .lux and try it without the boostrap.dat file again.

EDIT: I restarted the qt wallet after I deleted everything from the .lux folder and it syncs until block 1154 and errors out again and is stuck at 12 weeks behind.

When I run ./luxd it still chokes on block 1154

When I run ./luxd -loadblock=bootstrap.dat  it still stops on 1154.

yiimp, altminer, bsod, is this enough?

if you will just make a check and see how many lux you get for 24 hours and convert it to BTC then for example make a 24H check with **K and see how many BTC you get you will be surprise

and cry because since 2 month you mining lux instead of mining **k and just buy lux this way you will get twice more coins

but whattomine will show you that you will get a lot more with mining lux

and i don't care will people mine this or not i just asking why there is no "Release stable pool for mining" in lux road map

Thank you, il try to test it and get back with the results Smiley A 8% increase would be a really nice boost just to switch program.

And to complainers about pools, yiimp is working fine and stable. My payouts are good to. Though if only Suprnova came i would switch instantly as it is my preferred pool Smiley

very interesting

i will test it and compare with SP-MOD

Most likely sp-mod is still faster, but not free.
Our target was to make the gap smaller between free and paid miners as not everyone can afford a paid miner.

You should see some increase for sure.
I say it's better than nothing, especially if it costs you nothing.

I got paid in LUX some time ago at HashRefinery. No problems there.

LUX/EUR got a boost today. Do you think it will do even better soon?

I am mining on altminer or yiimp and I don't complain. those 2 guys they know what are they doing.

lol, if you mining at altminer and don't complain i have nothing to say  Wink

probably you lose 50% of profit

profit is when you sell your coins not when you are mining it. don't worry about loosing my profits take care about your own.

Who created that binary?

Well I just installed the windows wallet in a windows 10 vm on the same pc and it seems to be syncing fine.

Sometimes it's really nice having dual Xeon's and lots of ram as my main pc. Grin

would anybody know the % rate for POS on this coin and minimum recommended amount for hitting weekly stakes?
You can have a stake per day with 1000 Lux in wallet, do your count for weekly stake  Smiley
