It doesnt seem to connect at all. I close it and i open it and wait more than 10 minutes...red radar. I did as you said. Backup my old wallet.dat file, deleted all the other files and run the file. I dont know if I did something wrong because each time I close the wallet...after the message "luxcore is shutting down", another message pop ups that says "a fatal internal error has occurred. see debug.log for details"

Try to do it from scratch:

before running the wallet "4.0" make sure do you the follow

1 - close current wallet
2 - go to the lux folder where you all your files, follow the steps below
3 - press windows logo + R on your keyboard "this will bring a small run window"

type the below info or use the folder explorer

4 - remove all the files located on the LUX folder with the exception of the wallet.dat
5 - make a wallet.dat backup for safe keeping
6 -  download lux.config

7 - move the lux.config to the location %appdata%\Lux
8 - start new wallet and watch the magic happen !

Also give more time to catch up with net in first syncing

It has started syncing! Maybe it just needed lux.conf. Anyway thank you for your very detailed guidelines!!

Will a v3 wallet still work wallet to wallet or with mining pools? 

With mining pools - no, v3 to v3 for some time yes, but in the end all chain will be v4 based and v3 will be done, so make sure to upgrade to v4 wallet ASAP.

Mine appears to be working fine this morning.  Synced up over last night.  Payouts are showing fine on the wallet from mining.

I sort of prefer the skin on the old wallet better than this one but I'll take the improved functionality over aesthetics ANY day.  Glad to see they got the not responding issues seemingly sorted out here.

Yes, it's fully synced. Everything looks fine.
The problem maybe is that - when I was sending I didn't added nodes yet. So it was fully synced but I had 0 connections to network (I noticed it after transaction).
So I sent LUX, then noticed that there are zero connections, closed it, added nodes, now I have connections to network but still 0 confirmations for transaction.

Is there a way I can rollback stucked transaction?

UPDATE - I have 1 confirmation. After one hour exactly. Not greatest speed I must say.

Please note Cryptopia is on the upgraded wallet v4.0.0- only transactions sent from v4.0.0 will be confirmed*. So please do upgrade to the latest version before you sent LUX to Cryptopia.

1) Windows
a) Make another backup of your wallet - file - backup - save to a safe location
b) Stop v3.0.4 wallet
c) Delete all files except for the wallet.dat file in %appdata%/lux
d) Run the new v4.0.0 wallet


2) Linux
a) Make another backup of your wallet - file - backup - save to a safe location
b) Stop v3.0.4 wallet
c) Delete all files except for the wallet.dat file in .lux in your home directory
d) Run the new v4.0.0 wallet

3) MacOS
a) Updated wallet will be released in next 24hrs

Looks like i got some problem with my new wallet for win. I can't encrypt my wallet for staking. the function is not active in menu. I can lock and unlock it, but can't encrypt it, so staking is't available. Who has the same problem? how to fix it?

Your wallet will say it is not staking. That is normal.
