Nice project! Is anything necessary to activate PoS in wallet? Or will it work automatically after receiving min 1 lux?

Are you too lazy to read a couple of posts? Staking does not work at the moment. When it starts working, no one knows. Previously, staking worked for rich guys with a large number of coins. If you want to make money in the crypt, pick some shit coin cheaper than the dollar and sell for ten)

Encrypt and keep it locked while POS not active yet
Simple guide about work with wallet https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/388703503973089301/410969460912947201/How_to_guide_-_Windows_LUX_Wallet_V2.0.pdf

Nice project! Is anything necessary to activate PoS in wallet? Or will it work automatically after receiving min 1 lux?
When POS will be active yes, will begin staking automatically.

"lux-qt ver.4.0" does not accept several coins with which in "lux-qt_v3.0.4" there are no problems.
After "lux-qt ver.4.0" I loaded wallet.dat back in "lux-qt_v3.0.4", after synchronization all coins on the place.
At "lux-qt_v3.0.4" only one active connection therefore not to send a coin to other purse.
How to be?

0.00141000

keep moving forward to delist  Grin

Even when it falls to a couple of dollars, why does it need to delist? There are a pile of coins on 0.00000001 btc and above.

That means by now we have not had exact day or block for activating staking feature. All depends on progress of coding.

It's almost like some people want to see it fail.  Not sure what their issue is.  Lotta negative waves.

I'm mining on bsod for over a week now been good.  Some of the other pools like zerg and minemoney have better payout schedules for me.  I prefer less payouts.  If there was just a bit more hash over there I'd switch.  Problem is I don't want to be the only miner in the pool and they're ghost towns right now.  I'm small potatoes with 180 MH/s so it is a issue for me.

EDIT: Moved over to zerg.  Minemoney would be even better with 24 hour payouts.

What is the mature time for coins on the wallet?
is there anything else i need to do then add 'staking=1' to the config file and open the wallet for staking?
Wallet says staking is not active.

So what is happening with this coin? Is it safe to buy from Cryptopia or should I just wait for things to stabilize?

I'm having a problem with the latest version on windows as well. When I click "file=>exit" — it crashes, and I've already had to re-download the whole blockchain since it had probably corrupted after one of these crashes.

This is a known issue which is being addressed.
Temporary workaround is to keep wallet locked - until new version is out.
Didn't help, encrypted the wallet and tried closing it when it's "locked" — still crashes when I press "exit" and then I have to redownload the whole blockchain again.

Hello,
I'm pretty new to this but had picked Lux Coin to mine after some research.  I have been doing so on a trial basis on and off for over a week or two.  over the last few days i noticed my windows wallet constantly crashes and now over the last 48 - 72 hours i've only had two deposits to my wallet all of a sudden.  They are no bigger than normal so i sure hope i'm not out all that mining.  I sure hope i haven't wasted my time.

Any help is appreciated.

There are wallet issues going on. They have new wallet in beta and alpha. However your coins should not be lost if they are sendt to your address in the actual chain. Not aware of chain splits so you should be safe, if there were splits pools are fast to update and send it out on correct chain. When a new stable wallet is live you just have to sync it and all payments should apear Smiley

Why is Zergpool such a disaster?  I switched over there the miner runs OK but I can't monitor my client/address from their site it just sits there and times out constantly.

Staking is giving you chance to find the block by keeping coins on local wallet. The more you deposit the more you increase your chance. Before the time LUX-team had shooted yourself in the leg we got 1-2 blocks per day per 1000 LUX.
