Why can't I end the lux-qt.exe process under Windows 7 x64? I use latest 4.0.1 wallet, but the same behavior was with previous 3.x version.

Hope devs realize that staking and functioning MN were very good to the coin value, next to all other "future exciting" features. People held a lot in wallets to stake and to generate value by MN. Currently though, most people will be just inclined to dump unless something changes fast. I.e. within a week release working staking and MN Within 1-2 months start rolling out new key differentiator features

I think the devs are working as hard as possible to get this fixed. They are working on a new wallet which I'm confident will bring staking back - assuming masternode just after that.

Waiting for a stable release before starting up my wallet again And without staking there is not much point running it when i just want to keep the coins for longer term hold.

If it is not on a block explorer you might be screwed. Lot of people have complained about Cryptopia and Lux too. I'm no longer mining until the wallet issues have been fixed. Still a HODLer tho.

Mining is not looking very profitable if at all at the moment. Might switch to another coin for a while. Why don't devs temporarily increase mining payments with non distributed staking coins until wallet is fixed? The temporary boost will keep the momentum going and help get more coins out there/

Why don't devs temporarily increase mining payments with non distributed staking coins until wallet is fixed? The temporary boost will keep the momentum going and help get more coins out there/ Not sure how its not profitable? My Nvidia miner is more profitable mining Lux than most other coins, much much better than XVG. and XZC a little better than ZEC, BTCG, HUSH, VERT, MONA but ZCL is one of the better ATM. In a min or two those can change drastically. But yet mining any of these is still profitable for me so I'm not sure what your getting at? Mining has its ups and downs just like trading, which is what the price is based on. Nothing is guaranteed, Everything is a gamble. lets say someone just loves the the idea and throws a warehouse worth of hash power at the coin... now its also less profitable. Maybe they have a set goal of coins to mine then go elsewhere, now its more profitable again. We are seeing a spike in BTC and alts so people like to dump coins to ride the bull runs, then quite often when things settle they buy back into the original coin, lots of people are going to take advantage of fear, like what your sharing with us, in regards to the wallet issues and sell first, once the next wallet is released they will buy back more at a lower price and earn even more staking rewards. Not sure why you'd even want the staking coins to be handed to miners, most miners dump, (although MN and stakers most likely do the same) that's what they do to pay the credit card bills they over extended. It would most likely just create more dumping momentum, which would make your mining even less profitable. And not fair at all to those who hold, and not fair to the MN's as the investment price for an MN for LUX in itself is ridiculously high. You want those MN's to dump? Then how would your mining go? so then reducing the total coins in circulation at this point would actually be a good thing preventing more dumping. As a miner myself I like it when mining becomes less profitable, it chokes out the weak hands, reduces the people jumping into the mining taking my coins. Be a man and learn to trade. Diversify. Expect to lose 40% of the time and enjoy your 60% gains. Not everything in life is instantly gratifying. You could learn trading and use mining/ trading/ staking to your benefit. BTC/LTC/ETH/XRP/etc, etc, etc, have all seen the same things. I've been in BTC since 2010, this is nothing new. once again not everything in life is instantly gratifying. Things, take, time. Just my 2 cents.

Cryptopia is quite slow currently with some coins including Lux so deposits/withdraws is taking some time just take a patience.

I can switch to something way more profitable and convert earnings to btc or even LUX. SoilCoin would give me at least twice the return atm. It is a shitcoin but it can be sold and converted into btc and I can then buy twice as many LUX with that. https://minethecoin.com/coin/soilcoinI'm getting around 4 Lux per week atm, at current prices, that is only about $52. If I can get $136 per week on soilcoin, I can trade that for around 10 LUX per week. I'M NOT A FUCKING CHARITY!!
