Hey smoothie,

Any update on time frame? I had been following CoinHorder on his physical LTC, but since it looks like he's not going to go through with the project, and I'm down for 10 of these when they come available.

Timeframe has not changed. Nor will it be extended. I will be launching in the first two weeks of July. That is a 100% certainty. Thanks for the interest.

I think it would've worked without the misspelling just as well.

What made the series 1 shoot up in price (and will probably continue to do so) is the fact that they are the first of their kind made in the first year.

This is why I like smoothies approach to try to "distribute" the first batch to as many hands as possible.

UPDATE: Here is a sample set of coins I was able to assemble. Just a sample. Time frames have not change. I will update this thread when I start accepting orders with all the relevant information.

A few things to note:

1. Yes I realize the first bits are a little off on the coins in the picture. They are my first coins being assembled, forgive me. More importantly the addresses to the coins will be on the Certificate of Authenticity. The first bits (2 through 8 ) are all visible so they would be searchable given that the first letter to the address is "L" for all coins.

2. Because of the error in the coin (no circle impression on the back) the private key circles will have a slight bulge on the holograms. All future batches will not have this.

3. No I am not taking orders yet, nor am I taking any pre-orders. Please stay tuned for my launch announcement.

Yes, just as the original post indicates as well as the stamp directly on each coin.

These will make AWESOME card protectors for live poker, I plan on buying a dozen just to give to friends and family, and Im sure all my poker buddies will want one when they see them. Great conversation piece too, and great way to promote Litecoin.

Well, you shouldnt bash "robinhood" too much... We ALL say that here on this forum dont we? Sure, you are paying $65 + upfront with no guarantee of getting anything, it is risky, no matter who is selling.
 A lot of people trust smoothie will deliver I guess, so, to each is own.
