The $37.50 isn't profit, its the value left after factoring in costs that I knew, the LTC and the Silver.

If we work out 1000 coins then he is generating $37500 after silver and LTC, that $37500 has to buy:

 - Boxes and Certificates (lets say he uses 300 boxes and certificates (selling 300 pairs and 400 singles)). If they cost $5 each then = $1500

 - Actual packaging to ship, lets say $1 for singles ($400) and $2 for pairs ($600), thats another $1000 gone

 - And much, much more - the cost of production will be massive for example. If smoothie comes away with $10,000 (random guess) then that is great for him, he deserves to make money off the sales, im sure he has over 100 hours invested in this of his own time.

It's funny all the bunch of greedy people whining when someone is making a profit. Same thing is happening in virtually all ASIC auction sale thread.

I wonder if they feel the pain when they make their grocery or buy a computer where 150% profit is small.

I bought 2 coins so I will not cry in 1 year when they will be sold out.

Any idea when you plan to lift it?  I would be interested to order at least another pair and have all shipped together (which should get cheaper on shipping, I presume).  I wouldn't mind waiting one or two weeks longer for my shipment if that were possible.

Do not flame him. If you do not trust him then just do not buy anything from him. I trust him because he is here longer than many of us and because his speech is clear and consice to me.
I appreciate his effort and except him to gain profit. I'd do the same. That's no bad thing. He put too much effort designing our collectible items, and you flame him?

Besides, making smoothie respond to all this flaming posts, you will just put a delay in the process of shipping.

Just an estimated guess.
 
People who bought the first day were the one following this thread which led to the sell off ~330 physical coins. This mean at least 166 people have bought the coins. Which is more or less the number of unique person posting in this thread. Suppose the number of people lurking this thread is around 166 people then around 2/3 of the coins have been sold off. This is obviously a conservative guess, I think the amount sold is less than this estimation.

Combined with the drop in dailly posts, the outrage over the shipping cost and the fact that eager buyer would have bought the first day has led me to believe that the interest in the coin has faded. I may be wrong.  

I would love to buy more coins to suppress the shipping cost but i don't think I'm the only one. The release of the cap would bring a surge in demand leaving few coins for new buyers. So I understand if Smoothie would rather not lift the cap.

So far, at least 33 rolls of 20x1BTC (660 coins) and 35 rolls of the 12x0.5BTC (420 coins).  That's 660/2000 and 420/2000 (at least as initially ordered) and that's just in two weeks.

So there is definitely demand for silver coins.  Though I doubt that every two weeks will be the same as the initial two weeks, I managed to sell out of my last silver run (500) completely and still leave many disappointed they had run out.

I don't deny the demand for silver coins. But one has to make a nuance between the BTC and LTC market. A little bit marketing would do the Lealana coins some good.
Currently the exposure is way to small. A big part the lt- community only frequents the mining section of litecointalk and few dare to frequent the dreaded Alternate cryptocurrencies sub-forum  .
