i think it is a very risky choice. we all know that bitcoin is so volatile now days. if you now have good job with a good income, you should think many time to do that. you can explore bitcoin little by little on your spare time. and when you are sure you have dived deep enough and can make profit constantly  better than what you get from your job, that when you can consider to quick your job.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Bitcoin. All of a sudden, the governments can make the possession of Bitcoin illegal and they can arrest people suspected of holding Bitcoins. What you are going to do in such a situation, if you don't have a full time job?

For me every job is trustful. And what is mandated to me should I do with full responsibility, even if it is just a small job.
If the choice is to quit the old job and focus on bitcoin or go both ways, I prefer to do both.
You can not leave a job just for the sake of something that is considered tempting. It could be what you bet on dibitcoin currently does not last long.
When you choose to leave your old job, then suddenly bitcoin prices plummet and you start losing a job dibitcoin
would not that only complicate your situation? Unless you have special skills you can rely on to create your own employment.

Bitcoin is just like any other investment. It is to support you financially and generate your hard-earned money into more. However, investments are only there to SUPPORT and not to be the only source of income. It is wiser to have a job while having investments.
Bitcoin is acting as a mile stone on the road of crypto currencies. People are happily getting in to it because of the high output. The large sum of money which is rewarded as a profit is an attraction for the investors but in my opinion regular job is good to be continued.

Firstly it keeps you engage and secondly it makes you to earn some extra so to increase your net worth and enjoy the nature and its blessings.

If you think that your potential income when you focus on bitcoin will be bigger than doing your present job then why not? But if it will take a bigger risk to be unemployed then it will totally depend on you.

Yes a really  bad idea, for me bitcoin is just a sideline because you can produce bitcoin in your free time. And your job is the reason you have bitcoin right now. So don't  quit your job

Bitcoin today has grown to one if not the best investment platform with exponential growth we’ve seen in just a year. Quitting your job for bitcoin is surely tempting. My advice is you will first need to assess your bitcoin status, first how much your earning through bitcoin? If your earning at least twice versus your current job, then you can go full time.

No it's not, it's better if you have sure money that you will receive every month. Specially if you have family dont risk their lives for your own sake. Once youre a millionaire the you can retire now.

Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

For me no bitcoins is not worth to quit your job, because having a permanent and stable job is a great thing especially when thatbis really your profession which means you really like what you are doing and bitcoins are not stable amd cannot last forever. Any moment they can collapse and lose its value it is just profitable this period of time because of them being new for the eyes of he people especially the businessmen. Because this is new for the people and having a lot of them is a must and them being a volatile it is a risky thing.

Good idea, stability is the first step in human life. Investing in bitcoin or altcoin is just a part of life and we do not need to be extra risky. Of course, that's better if he has his own choice.

Can't imagine how your job, or any other activity can prevent you from trading, or learning and following news about BTC. I always wathced this as some secondary and supplementary activity. Although it could become your primary activity, if you earn lot of money.

I think you should not leave your job because the main thing that I know is the basic support that you got from anywhere .
No doubt that in bitcoin field , main source of income is only trading  , so if you will go with trading then surely you will not only make profit but also can face big losses , so in that case of big losses you should keep in your mind that from where you will get support for your economical problem ( if any such big problems will arise ) .
So make yourself routine like to make himself busy always , monitor every activity of cryptocurrency at every free time and do your job with freely mind ( means don't give priority to your job but do job and should not quite ) .
Here perosnally I myself a student of master level but still with that study I am handling my trading job easily .

If bitcoin is more profitable compared to your daily job then it is good to quit that job and to continue with your bitcoin carrier.

Hi Prinox2,

bitcoin is really good and its good to have plenty of time to monitor and learn from this.

However, there are several things that you need to consider before you quit your job for bitcoin.

1. Are you single and does not have any responsibilities?
2. Your not dependent on your Job Financially?
3. Do you have the needed funds to start bitcoin?

if the answer for for those questions is YES then i think you can quit your job. but if one of your answer for the questions has a No. then you should triple think about quitting your job.

If you will quit your job you still have to work to earn bitcoin. So it's best not to quit your job. Think of bitcoin as an extra income instead of your main income.

Well if you think bitcoin can sustain all your needs, then go for it. Make sure you find the  answer all you need without regrets, office works are pressure type of job where in you have to work hard to earn good income, but bitcoins are different, you are now the boss here and you can work anytime you want as long there is internet connection:)

It is really hard to find a stable job nowadays, it is a surely earnings that you can get than profiting in bitcoin where you can't tell when its price will fall or its system will shutdown. Bitcoin can be your extra income that can help you to sustain your needs but having a real job is still the best option for us. It's just handling right strategies, time-management and patience.
