That's a big risk in my opinion. Sure you can quit and what are you going to do ? Stay all day at home and read about Bitcoin to educate yourself ? Naah, better not quit your job, but read about Bitcoin in your free time and you'll slowly start to understand the whole concept behind it and some patterns. Quitting your job wont help you, selling your house for BTC will  Grin jk
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Don't invest more than what you can afford to lose.
Can you afford to lose your job? If yes, then go for it and quit your job.

In my opinion it is not advisable to quit your job unless you have a lot of saving from your earning to your job. But is not right to do even you have more savings because the benifit you can get from your work is pitiable if you quit, also if you are just new to this field or activity in bitcoin.

Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
No its not a good idea to quit job even you earn huge amount here. It is still better to have a permanent job for secury of your income. Bitcoin was not that permanent as no body knows what will happen in the future. What if it is disappear and you dont have job your life will become miserable so its better to have a job while using it.

If you really think that your cryptocurrency paying activities or doing bitcoin paying activities really earned much than compared to your present job then I would suggest you to quit your present job and focus on bitcoin or to any cryptocurrency paying activities, one of these days I will invest my savings to bitcoin and then I will quit my job and focus myself in cryptocurrency paying activities.

It's a no no for me, but if you think that you are financially free to quit job go for it and focus on bitcoin but Investing on bitcoin also risky just make sure you are mentally and emotionally  ready if whatever happens on bitcoin beacuse bitcoin  is not stable yet .

I think this depends on how much you are gaining, is it constant source of income? Do you think you will be financially stable ( debt free ) and do you think you will be able to pay all expenses with BTC? What if BTC crashes? Do you have reserves? What if it goes wrong, if yes will you be able to find a new job? These are all questions you have to answer for yourself. I wouldnt do it, maybe go part time first.

Well theres always a reason for something that happened or will happen. I think, it depends on the earnings or salary you get in your job and working on bitcoin. If you have enough salary in your job to sustain your daily needs and buy the things that you want, it is not advisable for you to quit your job but if youre earning larger amount of money in working on bitcoin rather than in your job, i think its okay for you to quit your job. But the best thing to do is to work on your job as well as on bitcoin. Working both on your job and on bitcoin can really increase your networth.

its not advisable to quit your current job for now, but if you see that focusing in bitcoin makes your life comfortable and you can buy all you need in life without your current job thats the day you quit your job.

Working on bitcoin at night for six months, and keep your daytime job for six months first. Much safer than just jump in.

I don't think it is appropriate if you quit your present job and focus on investing bitcoin. Yes it is true that bitcoin will give you opportunity to earn money and make living, but it is nothing compared to the job you have now. Even if you think that you're earning larger amount of money in bitcoin than your job's salary, it is better if you have the two so that your earnings are larger compared to bitcoin alone.

I also having same experience. But i recommended to you, DO a job also. We can not predict the future sometime whole blockchain will ban from all countries.

If your Bitcoin wallet can be hacked so all the funds lost. so lets think. do a job even though its a small. in the spare and free time you can do the btc world.

i also quite a job because of  cryptocurrency. but now i realized that at least we have to do small job. to contribute the economy and family and also keep the statues of the family also

we all need universal power and cyclist of Everything

Just now only you are jr. member and it is very difficult  to find signature campaign for you based on what strategy you want to quit your present job for bitcoin make me surprised. Start earning through signature campaign give some time to get promoted in the rank of bitcointalk forum see the income which you getting through it is enough or not the you deside to quit your present job.
What i think is that it is not much wise to quit regular job for bitcoin, bitcoin may help you in increasing your income and reward you with multiple benefits but regular job brings you stability and mental relaxation, helps you to interact with people and a chance to advertise bitcoin. My honest opinion is to carry your regular job with bitcoin

Do not give up your job to participate in bitcoin as this is not a smart decision. There is no reason to be sure you will succeed with bitcoin in the future.

Of course not... I will never advise someone to quit their present job so they could do anything else which is still unsure if what will gonna be the outcome, as I see bitcoin is on the steady rise in terms of its value in the market and it's been all over the news but what if someday bitcoin will just suddenly collapse and fade away? so what will happen to you? you will end up jobless or worst homeless... so you just better keep it both bitcoin and your present job.

Before quitting our real life job, we should always think about the benefits we got from that company and what will be our future with bitcoin. We should also think that once we quit our job and we don't have steady income in bitcoin then we will have a financial problem.

Working for bitcoin should only be your second option since there are only few ways to earn bitcoin, and some pay only dust and only when a project is still running. Our daily living would depend on that.

No. When you do your job properly and productively, you will have it until you retire. It will be your source of income. You should not quit for bitcoin. You can do it both. Let's just say bitcoin will be just your extra income. Furthermore, having a job is more fine than relying on bitcoin. We don't know what will happen in here in the next few years.

This is clearly unreasonable. If bitcoin crashes, you will lose your job and your financial resources.

No. Don't quit your job just because you get paid good today with bitcoins. This is because of the possibility that one day, bitcoins might pop like a bubble. Leaving bitcoins without value and use. If you quit your job just when this happens, then you'll have no money, no work, and no plan. So don't quit your job.

It's up to you on what is your decision because i have a one friend quit his job to make a full time bitcoiner and he said he taking a risk to earn here in bitcoin and no doubt he is successful now in his career in bitcoin and he bought a house and lot and motorcycle for himself so its up to you if you want to take a risk and if you think that its have a high income in bitcoin than your job.

You are absolutely right. If the op has stable amount of income from bitcoins that can sustain his/her daily life then he could give it a shot. I know some person who doesn't work and only altcoin trading and bounty hunting are the only source of his income but he is now a millionaire because he was a committed bitcoiner since the beginning. I think there is no reason to be fear if you can get another job if bitcoin failed.
