Not really, bitcoin is not a job that enforces strict rules let alone to make bitcoin a top priority for its members.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

i think it is not advisable to quit your current job. you would still need a backup plan if bitcoin suddenly disappear or become banned or anything similar. losing a job that could give you money for many years than losing money that could give you money to the years that are coming.

That was not advisable to do, why? Because eventhough bitcoin has a bright future and many people are now very confident that bitcoin will survive for many years, it is still not advisable to leave or to quit your job, because its hard to find a job in this world right now, so for me do both make many profit from it.

I think it is not necessary to do so. I have seen thrrads like these long time ago and seems like as yime goes by many prefer bitcoin that the job they have. Every job is an opportunity and knowing bitcoin also. But if you think you are stable enough in bitcoin then think what could happen after loosing your present job.

Yes, sure I would advise you to do it.. if you have gathered a decent buffer and have been doing successful trades for a while already.
I'd strongly advise against it if you're new to this.

You should consult with your family. If you are tired of your job, you can stop or change a new job, and change into a new working environment. It is not recommended to stop work and enter the bitcoin trade, and it is a great risk to know. This is a risk that you and your family can bear.

Well I quit my job 2 months ago. And I do trading on cryptocurrencies for 2 months. It is going well now. But after this dump I realized that it is risky. Yes I am a developer and I also try to develop a website about cryptocurrencies and I develop and application. I can also earn money with my website and application. But until when? It is better to jave a proper job and get salary mothly. I will start looking for a job. We dont know what is gonna happen tomorrow.

You should take break from your job and test your self how you're felling with bitcoin in two or three months. Invest in long term trade gain knowledge and increase your experience . After that if you feel you can do something with bitcoin even if you don't have job then i won't stop you to quit your present job. Since every job/work want experience whether it is day time job or bitcoin job so better gather experience first.

It depends on you sir whether you feel like quitting your job since if it tiresome and you are less compensated while in bitcoin, you feel like everything goes fine and you still have time to relax since you can do it at home. But if you can do bitcoin and you can also do your present job, then that's much better, IMO.

No one can advise you whether or not you should quit your job or not. And you certainly haven't given us enough info such as how good a trader are you and what is your job now.

Bitcoin is so volatile, it is risky to rely your source of income to saving and trading bitcoin and other crypto currencies. But I think I will be doing the same since bitcoin can be done at home, while you are relaxing or chilling outside, you can just check the market for new updates and price changes. Besides, work or jobs give stable income unlike bitcoin.

No it is not, In my own opinion, There are a lot of people who already quit their job and focus on working here in this forum because they earn a lot of money even they have no day job but for me, I prefer to work on the corporate world and also join bounty campaigns and do some trading as well.

Better keep your job and not to depend on bitcoin so much. It would be better if you have a back up than depending everything to bitcoin.

it depends on what kind of job you are doing now.if your job is enough for your maintenance I will suggest not to quit your job.
you can do your job and bitcoining. it is risky to quit job for bitcoin.now you have stable income but bitcoin can not give you that.bitcoin will give more or  less.it is not a good decision to quit job for bitcoin.gather more experience, take your time.you don't know what will happen tomorrow. it will best  if you do your job and bitcoin investment simultaneously.

Multiple source of income is good. I don't see a reason to quit your present Job for Bitcoin. The system requires little or no stress. To me it's not a good move.

It's definitely best to not rely on a single income source and I totally agree with the above post. If still possible, don't quit your job and invest in Bitcoin at the same time.

You still need to have a career guys. You still need to work and find a decent job. Just invest your money in bitcoin and let it grow it self. Because if there is emergency or downfall of bitcoin you still have source of income. Angry Grin Grin Grin

Things will not turn out to be good because earning in trading needs time and sometimes we are talking several months or year for a good profit. Study first and save some of your money if you are really serious on this.
