I think this depends on how much you are gaining, is it constant source of income? Do you think you will be financially stable ( debt free ) and do you think you will be able to pay all expenses with BTC? What if BTC crashes? Do you have reserves? What if it goes wrong, if yes will you be able to find a new job? These are all questions you have to answer for yourself. I wouldnt do it, maybe go part time first.
Just like in trading dont put all of your eggs in one basket.

You are absolutely right. If the op has stable amount of income from bitcoins that can sustain his/her daily life then he could give it a shot. I know some person who doesn't work and only altcoin trading and bounty hunting are the only source of his income but he is now a millionaire because he was a committed bitcoiner since the beginning. I think there is no reason to be fear if you can get another job if bitcoin failed.
I strongly agree on that based on what i have heared many people today really quit thier job and do bitcoin fulltime because we see that bitcoin is really have a big capacity to give  as a huge income even if we do it in a short period of time or maybe in our vacant time how much mlre if we do it in a full time, maybe we can gain big amount if we give more  time to bitcoin that is why i believe that we can really survive on bitcoin.

I guess you don't have to quit your job, because trading bitcoin is not necessarily monitor price charts. I think trading bitcoin not too time-consuming unlike forex should at any time monitoring chart so as not to lose . Better keep working at your current job and make it bitcoin just a side job .

Never give up on your job because it's fixed income, and you know you will get so-and-so money at the end of the month, with bitcoins or any other speculative way to earn money you have no guaranty at all that you gonna finish the month on plus. It's most like gambling, because you never know what will happen in the future, unless you are an fortune-teller, crystal-gazer, spaewife orowhatever they call it. Just a joke..
Let the bitcoin be your hobby/extra income but not your main income. This is what I do,speculating in the spare time just for fun.

Do not give up your job to participate in bitcoin as this is not a smart decision. There is no reason to be sure you will succeed with bitcoin in the future.
I agree with you, we all know that bitcoin is not stable which means there will be days that you earn plenty and days where you don't earn enough. Treat bitcoin as a second job and don't quit your current job for bitcoin, I believe you can make both work just have to balance your time for the two. You're never sure of bitcoin but it depends upon you if you're willing to take the risk.

You need to have a long time experience first in bitcoin. If you dont have much knowledge or experience on bitcoin. it is too risky to make a gamble and depend always on bitcoin. You must think carefully before you leave  or to quit your present job just for bitcoins. But if you have some idea or good thinking about investing maybe you can do quit your job just for this coins. And we know that this coins has an unstable value on the market so for the mean time it is best to have a primary job then use bitcoins as a sideline first for a good beginning

if you are sure with Bitcoin then stop working. you better focus on Bitcoin because Bitcoin is far more profitable than working in the offline world.

Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
No, I suggest you make bitcoin as a second or side-job in other words. Because bitcoin is very high right now, and it could increase it's value everyday. But we also need to think that bitcoin could also decrease its value from very big to very small, and we don't know when it would happen. But I think that you need to do the things you love when working at your job.

Bitcoin is really good at this stage but we cannot have the same feeling that it will continue to exist even in future and that makes it very risky to depend only on bitcoins to fulfill our needs and expenses as if you quit your job now and if bitcoin suddenly disappears in future then you will be really struggling in your life with money and at that time it will be very hard for you to find a job in real world.

As we have the right amount of BTC, it's investment and you can earn it. This time BTC was an additional source of income for me ..

I am sure that if you are passionate about Bitcoin, you can spend all your time with Bitcoin because it is considered a real career. Instead of working outside hard at the prescribed time, fixed salaries, you can completely own your time with Bitcoin, the opportunity to make big money and never let you die. hungry. However, I do not encourage you to quit your current job, it is a mistake. For me, I consider Bitcoin as an opportunity to get rich rather than earn a living because it can disappear at any time.

very honestly i do not think that it will be such a good decision that we should quit our present job for bitcoin, I do not think that currently we can do fully trust on bitcoin. Bitcoin is a new emerging currency and it is a fact that it is giving a good profit to people but still we should not put all our career on bitcoin, I think we can continue both our day job and bitcoin trading or investment both together. I myself a government servant but still i can manage to give good time to bitcoin without any hurdle. and difficulties.

Its not a good idea to quit your job at the moment just for trading.  That would mean you would have to cash out some of your cryptos to live.  It's better if you're working, to put any spare cash from your job into crypto and grow it that way.

If you start making some serious gains you can think about leaving your job:  Set yourself some price targets to take some profits e.g. after 5x investment take out 10% then take out 10% every time you double your money.  If you've got a big enough stack and you're smart with your investments then you could make some nice money like this.!

Don't invest more than what you can afford to lose.
Can you afford to lose your job? If yes, then go for it and quit your job.

I was thinking the only afford we loss is small amount of money but you said job. Its surprising me.
I also not recommend you or other people quit job because of bitcoin but if have good strategy for your economy life, why not? Full time bitcoiner is  making happy.

No.
You shouldn't quit your job just because you have Bitcoin, you need to have other options on the table.

It would not be a smart idea. You will loose a job where it pays you on time money. If you quit for bitcoin, you will be exchanging your on time money to a delayed money. It will also lessen your profit.

yes trading is the best way to earn more money so try to get more knowledge and if you say that youre a pro then go quit your job because you will get more money in trading just in hours or day so you should need to take the risk if you quit in your job.
