Bitcoin or Altcoin

Many would say that the bitcoin price is too high to invest today maybe because they are riding the bandwagon of the bitcoin's trend and i would say that they are the late adopters. Where were they when the bitcoin price was as cheap as 100 USD or they are just ignoring it because they might think it will end up soon, but now look, the bitcoin was strong and high it is now reaches to 10k USD. If you are a late investor, i would suggest to better position your investment on an affordable altcoins like NEO, WAVES, LTC or OMG and don't ignore the greatest potential of ETH and also the bitcoin's fork BitcoinCash and BitcoinGold it is also good to invest but it is for short term goal only.

I think if you would like to invest in longterm you have to make invest in both Bitcoin and altcoin(ETH &LTC) , by portfolio 70% in Bitcoin 30% in that altcoin because Bitcoin and that altcoin has strong in fundamental and will be bigger in the future. But will be better by doing day trade that paired that altcoin(ETH & LTC) with BTC so the amount of BTC will be increasing then we get more profit.

I agree with this because ethereum and litecoin have potential to increase for a long term. now I am trying to change my coins list and I think I will sell my coins which is not giving too much profit and I will move to ethereum and litecoin only beside the other coins. but I will make bitcoin as my most of coin because if we can hold bitcoin for a long time, then I am sure that we can make a big profit.

When a coin pumps too much, expect a dump afterwards. Maybe on late december or january, bitcoin's price will be dumped. That'd the best time to invest. Do not invest yet because prices of ethereum and bitcoin as of now is at all time high. Both bitcoin and altcoin are good investments, just choose the good altcoins like ethereum.

Depends on the current status of Coins. Today,  i go invest with altcoins. Because we are seing bitcoin is going higher, so not best to invest i guess. By next year it will definitely go down for a while so prepare to buy. But now,  altcoin is the best option.

I think investing in Bitcoin or altcoin is equally profitable, if you want to long term invest I suggest you to chose Bitcoin because the price always increase all the time, for altcoin you can invest but more risky.

At present there are some altcoins which have potential to grow in future like ETH,Waves and investing in them at lower price will give you profits if you hold for a longer period but bitcoin remains king at throne in crypto market which cannot be overtaken after market analysis. If you had invested on btc in starting of 2k17 then until now you have earned almost 300-400% profit so you are wise enough to make comparison between both and choice lies with you.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and altcoin is a alternative coin of bitcoin and it's like a ETH and litecoin ,if u want to long time invest and suggest to choose bitcoin because the price always increased all the time but you if you choose altcoin and it may risky

Ethereum has a strong background to live longer and grow eventually, Litecoin will also grow, but there are other Altcoins which I think, not sure though, will grow better than Litecoin. Researching and Investing in altcoins beside Bitcoin is the option to enjoy even more in future.

If you want a higher profit but also higher risk then go for an altcoin like eth and ltc but stay only with top 10 or 100, dont choose shitcoin.
If you want a more reliable and lesser risk then go for the best coin which is the bitcoin. Most trusted coin in all crypto currencies

I think you got it wrong, you just invest like 100$ for example it does not matter if it is 0.01 bitcoins or 0.001 bitcoins, if bitcoin makes a x2 in 2 months then you have 200$ it does not matter the price of 1 bitcoin.

I invested in altcoins decreasing my small bitcon holdings in may, june and july, and even if I have not lost any money(with some of them I have, but I mean adding all up), I have made less than if I had just hold the bitcoins.

I think holding is better for the long term than trading.

Ethereum has it peak at 500$ but it went down to 400, some says that it will reach 500 by the end of this year.
Both are good to invest in my opinion...for litecoin i don't know.

Litecoin already almost touched 100$ price (97$ if to be honest)

We look a pity trend when BTC grows / ALTS are falling down and BTC falling down / ALTS are falling down too...

I wonder what make you think that it is hard to invest in Bitcoin and that altcoin is the solution?  FYI, you can buy bitcoin in parts if you do not have enough money to buy a whole bitcoin.  Aside from that, once you have a hold of bitcoin, it opens your door to buy altcoins.  So I guess it is more beneficial to buy Bitcoin to have an entry point to cryptocurrency.  Aside from that bitcoin is so far the strongest cryptocurrency among its kind.

Both is good . Bitcoin even the price is very high you can invest also because for sure the price will increase more and if that happen you will earn a lot of profit. You can invest to altcoin like ethereum and litecoin because this coin have potential to increase the price more in the future and if that happen you will earn a lot of profit for sure. Buy more bitcoin and buy more potential altcoin.

Both coins are good, but for now bitcoin has the highest value in the market so it is too costly to invest. Altcoins are good too but it has too many faces so we better be careful.

I can say all are good choice if we have in our wallet. Altcoin amd bitcoin are good potential currency.
Etherium and LTC are going a little pump now and its going to be more in future.

I was asking my self the same thing and decided to go for ETH. It seems that all ALT`s relly on ETH so it can go only UP if alt coins want to survive.
