If bitcoin stops, that i guess it's time for alternate coins to follow bitcoin's path. There are lots of alternate coins that is very potential to be a successor of bitcoin. It's not yet the end of crypto if bitcoin will gone, IMO.

If bitcoin fails, the whole cryptoworld will suffer.

I don't think it will suffer unless there are exchanges around the world who will unable to replace bitcoin as exchange to their fiat money. If LTC succeed in B2B with bitcoin, oh yes, bitcoin will continue forever because LTC supports him.

Who will stop bitcoin? the only way here to stop bitcoin is when the world government interfere and agreed to banned bitcoin world wide.

That will indeed drive the value of bitcoins so low that it will be valueless but i don't think the governments of this world can come together as one mind to do that especially when they are reaping the benefits of bitcoins themselves, its highly unlikely it is going to happen ever.

i think this is very impossible to happen  bitcoin is a decentralized . no one can stop bitcoin maybe shutdown or close all the internet company to stop all transaction but that is also impossible.  bitcoin will last forever period 　

It is not possible to stop the use of internet and a lot of companies are running because of internet. It is not possible to stop it working in bitcoin it is just price and value that use to increase or sometimes decrease but it is not possible to make bitcoin failed forever. I don’t think it is going to happen and yes if all user will be sought bitcoin then bitcoin can be stop but this is happening even because it is good for users then why would they do this.

It is possible to stop the Internet what it happens is that will be a very costly decision for the governments of the world to do since not only people will get mad about it they also depend on the Internet so if they do it it will be done because that is the only way they think they can stop bitcoin.

Whatever might be, the growth will continue to happen with bitcoin as well other digital currencies. Bitcoin has been set as the base, so when the mining process gets stopped the one that's been generated in the past gets used. Hope such a scenario will lead to a catastrophic price increase.

Before they can stops bitcoin they have to look for all bitcoin users around the world which is very very hard for them to trace where is the main owner of this transaction and adress. There are so many people involve with bitcoin so i think government would realy hard to stop bitcoin in any case i think its imposible to happen.

bitcoin is a decentralized currency which works based on its users or peers on the network. as long as there is at least 1 peer on this network who has the blockchain, or in other words runs a full node, and as long a he mines bitcoin, it will remain alive.

note that if everyone stops mining bitcoin and that 1 peer is left, the difficulty will also drop down and it won't be as high so it will be easier for him to mine bitcoin.

p.s. bitcoin is just starting, why would it stop at the beginning?!

I dont think bitcoin stop .. Lot of big finance company invest lot on bitcoin. They did proper research before investing.. its stop if you can shut down whole world internet ...

bitcoin stop many times like 12/12 bitcoin network was so slow and fee very high.
