Nice setup Cheesy - that looks like a re-purposed GPU-mining crate. I hope the poor GPUs that your bitfury has displaced were given a decent burial Wink! Happy mining.

punin, are you going to adjust your price of (31st) October delivery after competitors movement?
https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-33

   that price for Nov Delivery.

yeap, but August delivery became early-September, so maybe October one will become November, and then KNC looks more atractive. That's why I'm asking about punin's plans before placing an order.

How would you feel when all your money is tied up with a company that hasn't even shown a working chip, and we're selling miners that are in stock? I know from personal experience how it feels. That's why I strive to deliver on time or before, and not less, but more than what I've promised. To DELIVER. But hey, it's a free market, and you have right to do whatever you like with your money Smiley And if you wait a little bit more I bet there'll be an announcement of 20nm or 14nm preorders by some company soon, with even BETTER deal! Smiley Smiley Smiley

Thanks for the repley. I guess that means no:)
I don't doubt in your honesty and professionalism i just really Hate preorders:) if you have them in stock I would never ask, but it is still preorder, barch #2 of working devices, but a preorder. Nevertheless if anybody wants to sell barch #1 unit, pm me:)

If you want to check some stats on the raspberry pi itself...

Check BitFury log files on raspberry:

Code:
/run/shm          [folder for log]
ls -a             [look for hidden files]
tail .putstat.log [view putstat.log]
tail .stat.log    [view stat.log]

thx to Isokivi from irc

Two questions from the lurker who hasn't been following this thread, and now is pleasantly surprised by punin's amazing accomplishment to deliver on time, and now would like to jump into Bitfury's train:

1) Are there any decent group buys for "400GH Miner Full Kit (October Delivery)", specially if they are to countries without VAT and reasonable electricity prices?

2) Haven't found in FAQ what October delivery means: beginning of October, mid-October or until the end of October. It makes hell of a difference when monthly diff increase is in a range of 60+% (and maybe much more). Is there any explicit punin's statement about this?

Thanks.

Dave from the US side of the store said that chips would be available at the beginning of the month, but could only say that miners would be near the tail end.

By October, we'll have worked out this issue.  We are playing with different R01F (input) resistors now to see how well that works.

Can I confirm when in Oct you expect October kits to ship ?
ie: early orders - early October vs all orders at the end of Oct. etc

Shipping is "by end of" whatever month the product description says - and that's our best effort guess.  With production delays, component shortages and now even manufacturing variability we just can't nail it down much better.

One thing we do know for sure - bare chips will be early October.

Punin seems to be running a few days ahead of Dave (from store access... to finishing shipment).

I have received my Full Kit toady. After dealing with BFL the quality of service provided by punin is almost unbelievable.

Regarding hardware. The setup was nice and easy, everything went smooth. But after hashing for several minutes hashrate was dropping drastically, I was forced to stop and restart the miner. Furthermore BTCGuild showed only half of Kit's hashrate. Switching to Eligius Pool helped. Now everything runs great and stable.

Punin stated that first orders will be shipped in the early October or even late September (!), if you place your order now it should ship in second half of October.
