Our chips have been packaged in punch type QFN since august. Same packaging. Those corner "pins" are just leadframe features that are not connected to anything.
Thanks.
I was afraid that it may require some changes in the design, for which i'd prefer to be prepared, before receiving the chips.

Hopefully in few days.

Hopefully in few days.

How much do you reckon they'll be priced at (with or without the chips)?

Probably very close to or more than what they will return in their lifetime.

MegaBigPower still has to ship their October orders before Punin can lower his price.  Otherwise it would cause a major backlash for Bitfury.  And it looks like MGP is still a week or more away from starting and finishing their October shipments.

Then I imagine there would need to be a week or two before they'd announce new pricing so as not to piss off October customers too much, lol.

So 2 weeks to a month, is my guess... not a few days, unfortunately.

It makes zero sense for BFSB to keep their products waiting in the warehouse..

Unless I'm mistaken, BFSB (EU), MBP (US) and Metabank (RU) are just distributors for Bitfury and probably have little control over pricing and availability.

I want to acknowledge the incredible 7-days a week effort I've personally witnessed over the past few months from this team.  Without the dedication and commitment shown by these guys every single day, I don't see how this project could have been pulled off.  Of course, major props to Bitfury who achieved the unthinkable with is 'first-time-right' ASIC design.  I also want to thank Tytus, Bitfury and Punin for the opportunity to handle the sales on this side of the world.

My prices will be kept in line with those on the European site.

Don't you think as distributorships they would have an agreement not to have different pricing?

Not even sure you would make ROI at <1BTC. Even if you has it in hands today...

I've put up our last gold master image on Mega.co.nz for download (HINT: this image contains the missing piece from our easter egg hunt )

so today maybe I am the lucky one?

about sw easter egg:

chainminer in jobconnect.cpp there is:

hosts_t hosts[]={
      {"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8332/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client
         ,{"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8333/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client
            ,{"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8334/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client
               };

base64:
d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==

decoded:
whereareyou:satoshi

in short:
login/pass for local stratum proxy is the easter egg

and about hw easter egg - I believe nothing has changed since my last attempt:

work on your math. assuming the boards run at >30GH without overclocking, you should be able to see 2BTC return within a few months, and the bitfury chip is pretty future-stable (on par with many 28nm designs when underclocked)

Please show me your math, I would be humble to see how you make it work.

I could be mistaken too, but I always thought the distributors had full control over everything else but the actual chips.
