so today maybe I am the lucky one? about sw easter egg: chainminer in jobconnect.cpp there is: hosts_t hosts[]={ {"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8332/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client ,{"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8333/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client ,{"Basic d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==","http://127.0.0.1:8334/",{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0xFFFFFFFF},NULL,NULL,0,0,0} // local stratum client };
base64: d2hlcmVhcmV5b3U6c2F0b3NoaQ==decoded: whereareyou:satoshiin short: login/pass for local stratum proxy is the easter egg and about hw easter egg - I believe nothing has changed since my last attempt: WE HAVE A WINNER!! <- click for personal congratulations from satoshi

Should be on it's way. What's your order #? Maybe I just forgot to mark it as completed.

I have a 400 GH/s unit here which is heavily underperforming (~ 200 GH/s): http://imgur.com/hI8qQsZOf course I put the cards into their slots according to what was written on them. PSU is a Super Flower 1000W. Pool is BTC Guild with min. diff. 512 Looks like something is going wrong, as to my knowledge 400 GH/s units are tested before shipping. What can I do/try?

First, test each card individually. Do test all card in 1st slot bank A for 5 or more min. Save log and test next board. Before test mark each card number 1-16. Next, insert best card to 1 slot in each bank. Board with the worst performance in the last slots.

Furthermore, I received mixed revisions, i.e. cards with and without caps. The cards with caps are always in the 4th slot of each bus. Is it safe to move them to the 1st/2nd/3rd slot or will they (or the capacitors on them...) blow up?

Before all test edit plz file /opt/bitfury/best.cnf and change all aIfDSo to AIfDSo I add caps to my board (for test). But I use X5R instead cheap Y5V

... First, test each card individually. Do test all card in 1st slot bank A for 5 or more min.
To save time, you can test 4 boards at the same time by filling slot 1 of each bank. Let them run for 15 minutes. Write down the GH/s and the number of the board. Then fill all your banks, putting the highest hashing boards first in each bank. So top board goes to B1-1, second fastest to B2-1, ... Then let the unit run for 30 minutes and verify the GH/s for each board. Does it match with what you wrote down earlier ? The boards in slot 1 of each bank should, the others might not. Move non-matching boards: the lowest hashing board to the highest slot number of its bank. (Update: a bit cryptic to read, so an example: suppose you have board 1 doing 32GH/s, board 2 20GH/s and board 3 28GH/s in one bank. Then you swap board 2 and 3). You'll have to experiment a bit with this. If you have 2 or even 3 low hashing boards in one bank, swap the board at lowest position with the best hashing board at position 4 in one of the other banks. Now let the kit run for a day and check again. With 12 good boards, you should be able to reach 300GH/s for sure and most likely 400GH/s.

Do exactly the opposite. Here's a short how-to as indeed we have tested all rigs to run at 400GH easily (for this to work you need to have a rig that is working. If your rig is not mining at all you might need to recompile the miner executable (see instruction #1)): Instruction #1 (Web configuration page shows 0 hashrate) 1. SSH into the pi (username: pi password: raspberry) If you're unfamiliar with SSH, google it up. 2. Run following commands: cd /opt/bitfury/chainminer [enter] sudo make clean [enter] sudo make [enter] (wait for the compilation process to complete!) sudo reboot [enter]
3. After a few moments your web configuration should display hashrate. If not, check your internet connection and connection to pool. Instruction #2 (Web configuration page shows low hashrate) Solution A1. Make sure you have entered your pool info in all 3 rows and that the pulldown menu on the left shows YES on each row. Enter pool address without prefix e.g. nl1.ghash.io NOT stratum+tcp://nl1.ghash.io:3333. Enter stratum port in corresponding field. 2. Press save and restart stratum proxy -button 3. Press stop miner and start miner -button Solution B1. Power off your miner (from PSU) 2. Power on your miner and let it run for about 7 minutes (so stat.log doesn't get rewritten every few seconds and you don't get an incomplete file) 3. SSH into the pi (username: pi password: raspberry) If you're unfamiliar with SSH, google it up. 4. Run following commands: sudo cp /run/shm/.stat.log /opt/bitfury/best.cnf [enter] sed -i ‘s/AIfDSo/aIfDSo/g’ /opt/bitfury/best.cnf [enter] sudo reboot [enter]

sudo cp /run/shm/.stat.log best.cnf [enter] --> I guess the second parameter should be /opt/bitfury/best.cnf? Otherwise I would copy the best.cnf to the home directory where it has no effect (I think?)
I have sufficient cooling. The supplied fans run at 12V and are directly pointed towards the unit / hcards.

It is supposed that you are in /opt/bitfury/chainminer already after executing the first block of code. cd /opt/bitfury/chainminer [enter] EDIT: but still it will not end in /opt/bitfury ,so your addition is correct

Buttons in UI dont work for me and i dont know why.
