Bitcoin as payment system

We all know that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to invest your money. However, we know that Satoshi wanted to change money as we know it rather than new investment model.

How do you think, will we be using bitcoin as payment system? Or it will stay as it is and this bubble blow up one day?  

And how do you see it's future?

I think it is gaining traction so is more likely to be an easy payment method to accept in future, and there are no subscription or monthly fees for using Bitcoin directly, unlike traditional bank accounts and payment processing networks.

I think Bitcoin will serve as a good payment method and Bitcoin has increased its value and market relevance in recent times, and therefore it is no new thing to arrive at the point that it will be a more reliable means of payment compared to how now bitcoins can reach new heights that we will never know are farther away from the currency used in payments, but there are still some who accept bitcoin as payment.

BTC wiill never be accepted as a common-use payment system unless it’s cost stablizes. If you were a retailer, would you want to accept BTC not knowing what value it would have in an hour?

I do not think so, I think Bitcoin still have a chance to become a common payment system because in some countries, Bitcoin is slowly gaining acceptance and some restaurants are also intending to accept bitcoin, if this continues to spread and the government of the country allows, the payment system is a thing that can happen. However, I think the number of people using bitcoin as a payment system will be very low when people always know that the value of bitcoin always has a chance to increase, they will not want to spend bitcoin on unnecessary things

Some countries like Japan accept bitcoin as a payment system. Eventhough some aren't, buit eventually other countries will accept bitcoin as a payment system. As for this year, I think this would be a promising year for bitcoin.

Because bitcoin is not being controlled by anyone , our money is in the hand of ourselves. We can have the freedom to make transaction in order for us get and send money anywhere at any given time without worrying the availability of the bank due to holidays or any other stuffs that limits us transferring money . Bitcoin is a nice way to make payment transactions because it can be done without one's personal information.

Yeah i know that bitcoin was created originally to replace the conventional payment system.
But as you can see, many peoples want to own bitcoin, causing bitcoin value increased so much.
and because it is increased so much, now many peoples want to invest on it.

to me bitcoin future can only be for big purchases as fees are a joke now let alone if demand rises again. only good for cars/houses/drug market

it is possible that the word santhosi is true to make bitcoin a means of transactions, but it also returns to the state government, how they approve it or vice versa.

Many restaurants/shop already using it, but it still not popular like visa etc, anyway new projects develop app or tools for easy trading with crypto, so that is matter of time only.

I definitely agree with you. Bitcoin as payment system would be great and it will serve a faster transaction to all. Thhs, it will be convenient to all of the people in this world when it comes to paying.

I see in the future very much what can be done with bitcoin and that includes the payment system because the presence of bitcoin makes it easy for many things including in the case of transactions.

In the future, Bitcoin would serve people better when it becomes a payment system. Hence, I have a good feeling when Bitcoin starts to do different transactions worldwide.

I totally agree if bitcoin is used as a payment system. because it will facilitate us in making transactions. both domestically and abroad. if we go way out of the country we do not bother to exchange money. enough with bitcoin our affairs so easy .

I'm not sure if one day the bitcoins will become a form of payment, but it sure will be as or more valuable than other value reserves like gold

No one knows what the future will be like, but if seen from technological advancements that continue to grow, i think maybe bitcoin will be accepted as a legitimate means of payment may be around the world. For now bitcoin is always forbidden to use as a means of payment, but we do not know the future, hopefully there will be good news for bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin is very rare as payment system because many big brands and other campaigns still not accepted bitcoin so you very bounded in this case...
 

Big companies does not accept it for know but as you can see the payment evolution today it is not far that bitcoin will be accepted soon too. From banks, to credit payment to online banking and soon bitcoin and cryptocurrency will take over.

That's what bitcoin was meant for. A lightning digital currency with decentralized nature. It really is great as a payment system but its volatile nature is stopping it to become a payment method. It has become more of an asset than payment system.
