Bitcoin as a payment system may be good and is good news for all of us who are active in bitcoin, because then we can make payments whenever and wherever we are lazy to go home, we can make payment at home just by sitting at the computer.
"The nature of Bitcoin is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of its lifetime." -- Satoshi

As far as i know, some of the online websites accept bitcoin as a method of payments. Some of it are those digital items. When we talk about everyday payments like on general stores or other places bitcoin is totally unsuitable for this kind of situation. The reason I think it is unsuitable is the high transaction fees and it takes a good amount of time to complete the transaction, so just imagine you being in a store to buy something and you just have to wait for half an hour for just the transaction to be completed. People just prefer credit cards or debit cards for such things and many of us would prefer to use fiat rather than bitcoin.

I think that will happen in the future because it is starting now. I heard some of the retailers are accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment in their products so it would be no surprise if people start paying using their bitcoins in the future.

There are many benefits accepting Bitcoin as payment if you are a merchant. First is that the processing fees are paid by the sender, and the merchant pays nothing to receive funds. These fees are considerably lower than traditional payment networks.
It allows you to send items worldwide without currency being a limitation. It allows one-way transactions that cannot be reversed as this is how Bitcoin works, so the merchant is not at risk of a chargeback. It is gaining traction so is more likely to be an easy payment method to accept in future, and there are no subscription or monthly fees for using Bitcoin directly, unlike traditional bank accounts and payment processing networks.

Although that might be the case the massive volatility and price swings do not really correlate to mass adoption from merchants.  They don't like it when 10k bitcoin turns into 5k in a week and now they effectively have less money than they accepted from the customer.

2018 is another year for bitcoin as many people are still coming to get bitcoin as their investment and savings for the future.
As long as there is a new addition to the community the demand of crypto will continue to grow while the supply remains at a maximum number of 21,000,000 bitcoin. this will affect the market blow as always. 2018 will have the blow and bitcoin will overpass the 20,000 USD and will hit the new milestone of 60,000USD before the year ends.

Bitcoin is an investment started from 1 btc equal to 1 usd and is now equal to about 7 thousand Usd  is now increasing more and more and will convert into payment system in future. It is using as payment system in many countries and will be using all over the world due to its easiness. Payment system with Bitcoin would be the success of people.

yes every action or every action you pay is taxed, but at least you will not feel it unless you transfer money to get it, because the tax is great to transfer money if you get it.

I would like to of course, but it's still far away
Only if they introduce a single tax when using cryptocurrency, this will become possible

Marinecoin - Bitcoin and Ethereum have a bright future. But in that there are some limited bitcoin aspects of high transfer charges and speed is not fast.in Internet Artificial Intelligence (AI) of Things (IoT). time dilution technology. time dilution technology - artificial intelligence - self sustaining - community - fair distribution - iotand I know that this kind of coin is very fast transfer and the transfer fee is very low. They are free and give 20,000 coins to those who apply for and do some steps.check this airdrop projects visit marinecoin dot info and follow all the simple steps. and get 20,000 MTC coins for free every 24 hours. Because it has so many things that other projects do not have.

Bitcoin is supposed to be used as the payment system for various products and services for business but that's not the case today because people are willing to invest because Bitcoin price is increasing every week or even everyday so I think Bitcoin is just for investment and for the payment system, there should be the cryptocurrencies that are fast enough even there's a massive transactions to be process in a minimum of time.

for most bitcoin users, we would not mind if bitcoin becomes the universal transaction medium because we are already used to it and we are enjoying it,but for those who has never been using it may find it difficult.
Secondly,I don't think that will be feasible any time soon than the way its spreading steadily. Not everyone would be able to use this bitcoin if only it comes as note or coin.

We all know that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to invest your money. However, we know that Satoshi wanted to change money as we know it rather than new investment model.

How do you think, will we be using bitcoin as payment system? Or it will stay as it is and this bubble blow up one day?  Undecided

And how do you see it's future?

in my opinion i see bitcoin that we will use it as payment system in the coming future because we're in an advance technology right now so its not possible to happen. For me digital currency will be our future money to buy stuff so it will start by the use of bitcoin and other altcoin.

In order for bitcoin to be used as a means of payment need to solve the problem with the speed of transaction confirmation and the price of small transactions. But I think that even it will have the desired effect. The people themselves keep the coins as a Deposit and don't want to part with them.

Well, since some online shops are using this method as the payment option, I don't see it declining in the future. Besides, virtual money is more efficient than the tangible cash.

I think that everyone who sits on this forum believe in bitcoin and want it to become a payment system. But of course it is possible that this bubble can still burst, no one can know for sure.

Bitcoin is not a currency. Bitcoin is more of a transfer medium when used for transactions. Transactions occur based on a barter system with the value of so many currencies. It could be said that perhaps "gold internet" is the most appropriate term for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a free finance system. It is financial freedom. I am very glad that some time ago my friends told me about the way of cheap transactions. After I have been met with Bitcoin. Now I am earning money with it.

Definitely, I think BTC will go a long way in terms of payment systems. Lightning network accounts for less expensive, faster transactions, and using BTC we can transact from anywhere to any place in the world, no matter how far, across any distances, and most importantly, according to me anyways, without any formalities that we have to face many times nowadays when encashing cheques in banks. I think, just a bit more of internet "universalization" in the developing and under developed countries, and bitcoin could work wonders as a global payment system.

Maybe in some other countries bitcoin has become a payment system tool, and I think it is very interesting and easier for bitcoin users to transact using bitcoin.
