This is a good idea. In our country bitcoin is prohibited so you cannot use it to pay something here in our place. I am converting my coin into a real money in order to pay something. In fact, bitcoin is where I get my money and bitcoin is my source of income, it will be a lot easier to have a transaction if bitcoin was allowed to be a payment system. It would be more convenient and more efficient. However, I guess one of the reason why bitcoin isn't allowed to be the payment system here and some countries because btc is volatile and its value varies from time to time.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

This question has been answered before, but to give you an idea it’s impossible to implement bitcoin as our main currency for such reasons: - In order for a currency to be a currency, it must be accepted and viewed by the govrnment as something that is legal and has value;
- Its decentralized nature makes it difficult for the government to impose tax laws, that is why they resort to prohibitions of it being utilized;
- Its volatile nature makes it unstable on its price resulting to inflation that may potentially go out of hand; and
- A currency needs to be backed by something that has value. The value of every currency in the world depends upon the country’s gold reserves, unlike bitcoin which also has a limited number of supply

In my opinion Bitcoin will be used as a method of payment in the future because user do not need to register. The only thing you need is a secret number to receive bitcoin. It is much easier than other payment methods.

2018 is another year for bitcoin as many people are still coming to get bitcoin as their investment and savings for the future.
As long as there is a new addition to the community the demand of crypto will continue to grow while the supply remains at a maximum number of 21,000,000 bitcoin. this will affect the market blow as always. 2018 will have the blow and bitcoin will overpass the 20,000 USD and will hit the new milestone of 60,000USD before the year ends.
With the ever-improving technology of bitcoin, and the constant improvements the blockchain technology receives, there is no doubt that bitcoin becoming a currency is nearing. And the world of currency will forever be revolutionized when this happens. However, it is no time to rest. If it's stabilize then I'll accept is as a payment. If it moves just like a normal fiat then people will surely accept it too. But we know it's very volatile so it takes a lot of courage to accept and hope it reaches millions one day.

I have seen many that now accept bitcoin and other crypto as a form of payment. I was speaking to a small independent shop owner and was asking if any one was buying using crypto and his answer was no one but at least it was a option for people.
The biggest problem is many who have bitcoin have it for its investment potential most likely with it still sat on coinbase.

Yes, Bitcoins are just currencies that are volatile unlike fiats. Maybe we will able to accept it as a payment system of all because it is already accepted in many countries but i think that it will also help the country on ecomonic issues, Bitcoin is a good investment and it will help us. Accept it as a legal cryptocurrency and you will be benefited. |

We all know that Bitcoin is one of the best ways to invest your money. However, we know that Satoshi wanted to change money as we know it rather than new investment model. How do you think, will we be using bitcoin as payment system? Or it will stay as it is and this bubble blow up one day?  And how do you see it's future? Bitcoins is really not meant to be an investment also i think the thing that makes them a great investment is the volatility of them and they are really been made to be a currency. And them being the daily thing to be used to buy anything that we wanted is gonna be pretty much convenient i think because you do not need to buy a wallet or something you just gonna bring you phones to you and scan the code them you are paid is is much convenient that credit card i think |

According to my understanding. The widespread payment method in the world is the target of bitcoin. And it is showing a positive change and is still growing and becoming more and more popular. An increasing number of agents and retailers around the world are adopting this method of payment and this trend is increasing. It's really nice and convenient.

i would be happy if bitcoin can be used as a payment system just that it will be really difficult looking at the number of stakeholders who would have to come into agreement just to see to the success of this initiative.

It's good that there are countries already that accept bitcoin as a payment because the charge that is putted there is not big however i think that the there are countries that won't agree the idea of using bitcoin as a payment system. So as long as there are countries that disagree with this idea bitcoin will stay as it is. Aside from that, people will choose tohold their coins instead of using it as their payment.

Bitcoin as a payment system is also a good idea because again it offers convenience and much better secured system as if we have today. As long the government of the certain country will allowed it and still make the economy stable as it approves the bitcoin as a medium.

For me i think that this is the main reason why bitcoin is existing to achieve its goal which is to become a mode of payment since it is a cryptocurrency as we all know.
