Difficulty is 9.473 atm.... amazing how this is rising. In the beginning the 30 rigs I put on this were all the way worth it since it doesn't actually cost me anything (running anyways doing completely other stuff). However just maintaining the minor updates in software and settings isn't really covered anymore. I am passionate for this coin, imo the first coin that really makes sense, but it needs a hell of a lot more value.

Some people are showing off in qq group, that they find a method which can solo mining primecoin extremely fast.
As the image above, only one i3 CPU can mine 8 block per day.
The first time I know this is about a week ago(august 1st?).
He won't share the way how he did this.

@sunny king:
Is it possible to do that?
If so, can you find the way out and share it with us, or ban it in the client if it's cause by a bug?

How do you know that is an i3 as opposed to a dual Xeon server?

I don't. That's why I ask here and try to find out.
The author of the image says his friend using a better cpu can mine more than 200 prime coin per day.

No error, its all in the blockchain. After bottoming out August 2nd-3rd it has climbed steadily until now.

I've had my hands a bit full but will post a link to a new chart in a few hours.

I have also been working on some charting for Primecoin. It's pretty crude so far but a detailed zoomable graph on the difficulty can be found here:

http://192.241.170.170/

The bar at the bottom lets you adjust the data the graph displays, just grab the handles at either end and drag inward. It takes a few seconds to load as it downloads all the diff data up to a few hours ago. I'll fix it so that it only loads enough data for the current zoom and updates the data in real time later.

Let me know what you think.

Nice chart  Cool

A real time update to the chart would be nice if you get it done.

Nice, quick enough. Is all the work done on the client?

Data for block 0 is missing but I guess it is not too interesting.

Thanks Smiley

I removed block 0 because it throws off the beginning of the chart. It was on the 5th and had difficulty 6. Block 1 was on the 7th and diff 7.

Yep, this is all done in javascript on the client.

I'm getting a blank page with an error in Chrome's developer console:
Uncaught Error: NotFoundError: DOM Exception 8 (dygraph-combined.js:2)

EDIT:
Running Chrome 28.0.1500.95 m, Win8 x64

I'd buy that for a dollar bitcoin!
