I have the feeling that Primecoin is getting more attention every day. And that's a good thing I would say, because hopefully a "real" Primecoin micro-economy may see the light

It still the early innings. However, as long as the development team stays engaged and maintains Primecoin, I think it will overtake Litecoin within a year.

I'm sure this was answered somewhere already, but what does the chainsperday value represent? Is it the predicted value of how many chains of some specific length will be found in a day? (What length? I hope it's not based on the current difficulty, or else that would mean that you can't use it as a performance metric for comparison at different points in time.)

Does p2pool work with Primecoin? Or would it require some special support added?
If it did, ahmed_bodi would have already created one. I need more sleep. Not only does the pool need the work algorithm coded in, but there's no miners so submit primecoin work either yet. Chick and egg. Except for ypool who wrote pool and miner.

Difficulty is 9.473 atm.... amazing how this is rising. In the beginning the 30 rigs I put on this were all the way worth it since it doesn't actually cost me anything (running anyways doing completely other stuff). However just maintaining the minor updates in software and settings isn't really covered anymore. I am passionate for this coin, imo the first coin that really makes sense, but it needs a hell of a lot more value.

http://oi42.tinypic.com/nbzwjr.jpgSome people are showing off in qq group, that they find a method which can solo mining primecoin extremely fast. As the image above, only one i3 CPU can mine 8 block per day. The first time I know this is about a week ago(august 1st?). He won't share the way how he did this. @sunny king: Is it possible to do that? If so, can you find the way out and share it with us, or ban it in the client if it's cause by a bug?

The author of the image says his friend using a better cpu can mine more than 200 prime coin per day.

No error, its all in the blockchain. After bottoming out August 2nd-3rd it has climbed steadily until now. I've had my hands a bit full but will post a link to a new chart in a few hours.

I have also been working on some charting for Primecoin. It's pretty crude so far but a detailed zoomable graph on the difficulty can be found here: http://192.241.170.170/The bar at the bottom lets you adjust the data the graph displays, just grab the handles at either end and drag inward. It takes a few seconds to load as it downloads all the diff data up to a few hours ago. I'll fix it so that it only loads enough data for the current zoom and updates the data in real time later. Let me know what you think.
