GPU mining working yet?

Nobody knows. The only person who is likely capable of making a GPU miner for primecoin Mtmlr has disappeared off of the forums for a week now, without any update.

GPU mining working yet?

There is a thread here explaining why it is REALLY hard to code a gpu miner that is really effective. The best there is right now get the same results as a cpu with the gpu extra electricity cost...

The CCEIII development thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262539.0

I wanted to keep it separate from the official CryptoCoin explorer thread because initial development and testing is temporary vs the long term nature of the master CCE thread.

This last outage was strictly on me and not a bug in the CCEIII software. I am just waiting for the test explorers to get caught up since the last database backup.

Currently offline, any update on your work? This is very much appreciated, thank you.

People said it wasn't time to bring out the pitchforks yet. Now, a proper week has passed since his last update. Is it time to bring out the pitchforks?

The guy said he had irl problems to take care of...  Still it is strange he didn't drop by for just a word or two.
He seems to be who he says he is if you read is post describing his work.

Did he provide a beta version of the GPU miner to all people who donated?

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

It fine if he fails, but then he should refund the donations.

I don't know what was the deal with the donations, but to me a donation implies you don't enter in any contract. Even if he fails, he would spend a lot of time anyway, and this time is supported by these donations.

EDIT: but obviously, whatever happens he should keep people updated, not disappear.
