.. I'm buying up anything under 0.003.  Anyone stupid enough to sell to me for under that, I'm a happy to take them from you.

Lot of coins available at 0.003 (mcxnow), how much you are going to purchase?
Well now, he implied that he'll buy all available under that price point.

Therefore, happily, if his money is where his mouth is, there is a solid price floor we don't have to worry about falling through.

 Cheesy

-- edit

And, IIRC, someone else also made pretty much the same statement of "I'll buy everything at or below 0.003.". But I'm not gonna bother going back through the thread to find it.

-- edit 2

Now here is someone establishing a true price floor.
10,000,000.0000    0.00000003    0.3000     Tongue

With the price now 400% up on the time that I wrote that I would buy anything under .003, and that you were all stupid for selling them at that price, I thought it would be a good time to re-quote this post Smiley  I didn't buy much at that price (a few BTC), and what I did buy I ended up selling off at .01 for a happy 3-4x profit.  I'll be keeping what I have mined for a little longer.  Thank you

If I have a core i5-2500k - that is four cores, what should I be putting my setgenerate to? I have set it everywhere from -1 to 16 and I am currently at 1250 primespersec. Is primespersec the best way to determine effectiveness?

setting it to -1 will utilize all cores so will give you maximum performance.  1250 is probably all you're going to get out of an i5-2500 and it may take several days to find a block at that rate.

There are probably some miners who have GPUs working they just haven't told anyone else how to do it.

-1 and 4 are not good settings - I'm leaving it at 24. I guess that means 6 threads per core.

Is a normal mined block 12 XPM?

The block reward is 999/(diff^2), so it depends on the difficulty at the time you mined the block.
