Dave and crew - thanks so much for the hard work and keeping us all in the loop.

I'm an October person - and after seeing how a couple of folks have really come unhinged from a totally reasonable hiccup is sad.  Please know that there's a much larger group of folks that recog how hard everyone's working - and how you are trying to be as open and fair as is possible.  That's greatly appreciated.

For everyone that's gone into total flame out - please CHILL.  If you can't handle this level of uncertainty/hiccups (after all custom Si and all the trimmings had to be invented and realized to make this even possible), then perhaps you shouldn't be in this game.  This is exciting because everything's so new and uncharted - and I personally don't think that anything so far has been that terribly bad thus far.

Having to read through five pages of people basically melting down is a bit much - and is not positively contributing to this experiment.

Maybe it's time Dave does a "forced refund" for Mobius which is common practice with certain ASIC manufacturers.

Not proud of that Butterfly Labs episode, but this level of vitriol towards Dave and Co. at this time is unwarranted, IMO.

Barring a couple speed bumps and part shortages, this has been the most professional and timely ASIC project I've seen so far.

They are clearly shipping, are making a very reasonable effort to mitigate loss for August orders, and by all accounts, it would seem that production will be ramping up once the parts come in, and quality will most likely be improving with assembly refinements as people in other threads discuss issues with this first batch.

Lets try to get some perspective here. I don't understand where that level of anger is coming from.

This persin be going completely off rocking chair, da?   Not understanding either - am thinking he having serious angry issues.  I thought they putting flouride and more chemicals in USA water so keeping people happy and dumb.  Maybe he drinking only bottled water and not getting happy?  Is allowed in USA?

I'm sure you'll care when an injunction is filed holding all payments until a resolution is accomplished.

He (Dave) really got to you.  Relax man.  Bitching here will not change a thing.
If you don't like how he does things, don't buy from him.  Ask for a refund.

So far, he has been more transparent than other ASIC sellers.

No a refund will not yield what I wish to accomplish. Now it's a matter of principle. Dave want's to ignore me, good, dig your own grave, they send in some young naive kid to run interference, fine, his ass will get caught up and it will be on his permanent civil record as will all his staff.

He tried to give a shit deal, he didn't ask, he imposed, too bad, he made his bed, now he has to sleep in it. His refusal to head it straight on, shows how much he realizes how he was so caught trying to F over people.

You do realize that anything said/stated is admissible in any private/criminal action

Erm, not to tell you your business, but I'd strongly suggest not making legal threats, empty or not.  The easiest way for any company to absolve themselves of any legal threats a customer is making is simply to refund that customer and cancel the order.  At that point any purchase agreement is ended, and you have no legal recourse whatsoever.  Literally none, go read the laws.  You could bitch and whine here, but it doesn't look like anyone has any sympathy for you.  Considering the hardware is worth more right now than it was when you pre-ordered, your own threats might very well fuck you over.  Not that Dave would do any of that, but that would be the easiest way to stop your legal threats.

Pretty much my thoughts - an eBay seller with an upset buyer, threatening to charge back.  Whatever.  My suggestion is to just use the ignore key...

If he was looking to make big dollars from selling it on Ebay, it's probably wishful thinking on his part.  I bought a starter kit on Ebay for $2100.  So the market isn't as hot a one might think considering that only a week or two ago, BFL Singles were going for 3 times the cost.

Delivery tomorrow!

Some bottled water (plastics with BPA) have been linked to increasing estrogen levels....just saying....LOL

I had to restart mine a few times when my hashrate was dropping rapidly.

Huh  They are giving you the same you would make with mining minus all other associated costs until they ship your hardware and you are still fussing? Bizarre.
[/quote]

He's already said he's looking to flip the hardware, not mine on it.

I am assuming he is hoping that if he throws a big enough stink that Dave will cowtow to him.  Personally, I would just refund his purchase and tell him to be gone.

**SRCZM**

I think he should quickly ask for refund. Immediately call BFL and order Monarchs. That will solve all his problems!

Hello Dave,

When do you estimate you will start contacting October Order clients for CC info per note left on order form?

Just to give me an idea of when I need to have $8000 available on CC for you.

Thanks

Dave, can you give us an idea of the schedule now based on the Fab delay?  Specifically, does it look as though the delay will affect October orders?

October orders are not affected by any August delays at this point.  If anything they are a learning experience to streamline the process.

Do you have any idea when October orders will ship? There is a huge difference in potential earnings between an early October deliver and a late October delivery. Given how fast the difficulty is increasing, and the fact that there will likely be three difficulty increases in October, having such a large delivery window makes it impossible for a potential buyer to make an informed decision.

Dave thank you for giving compensation to waiting customers.  I do have a question: Do I need to give you my BTC address or do you already have me on the list?  I am just checking incase you forgot about me Smiley.

All you can do is plan for end of Oct. Anything earlier is just a bonus. Don't count on it.

I'll pass. Pre-orders suck. I suspect that even ASICMiner hardware will be going for ~$20/GH at the end of October since blades are now around $40/GH.
