Great wall in BITFUNDER

The man with 75,000 shares for sale is nuts.  He could have messaged Ken  to transfer over to BTCT.  It can take a couple weeks but he said he would do it.  that's a loss of about $6000 he's sucking up.  I don't get some people..

You have to assume he doesn't know that, right? I don't get it either. I can't imagine holding a crypto asset and not frequenting Bitcointalk, /r/Bitcoin, /r/BitcoinStocks, and in general being on top of any and all information regarding my asset.

Straight from the horse's mouth:

Transferring shares takes up valuable time that we need to work on our companies plans, so at this time we won't have a transfer plan available.

At the rate this wall will take to crumble, somebody else could pocket those thousands by selling on BTC-TC and buying into it.

Person could also just not want the delta risk for the time it takes for the transfer.

Ah but if you have spare btc you could buy and sell at the same time. No delta risk - whatever that is.

Risk to the underlying asset.  http://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/delta.asp

Sorry I come from the options world, realize that might not be a common saying.

You options people. I tried to understand delta but will live on in ignorance. To me options are weird, like betting but with a huge spread. Each to their own.

Quick question: where is it posted that SDICE shareholders get bought out today on Bitfunder?  I think we may see some action there today if that is true.  Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, found it! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=102181.msg2752632#msg2752632

Food for thought:
A total of 3182.7215 btc will be hitting bitfunder today from the G.SDICE payout.  There is only 1250 btc worth of ASKS before .01.

I really don't get you people. You are asking fellow shareholders on the official thread if you should try and play the price to essentially take money off other shareholders. Take a long walk off a short pier.

LOL I've been wondering this for a long time, how short term share shitters can dance around so comfortably in front of the long termers, even to the point of asking us for advice  Huh

Look dude:
If the company delivers what it says, namely ASIC miners based on Fast-hash-one chips, those shares *will* defy gravity. Quarterly dividend alone will beat IPO price (0.0025 BTC/share), and the company could become a long-term money-making machine.
Wanna see how deep the rabbit hole goes ? (^_^)

But make no mistake: this is a *high risk* investment indeed, so you could burn your fingers, as any investor. So decide for yourself.

This comment shows what so many don't seem to understand: shortterm buy/sell strats are as much part of the market as longterm holders. Nobody is being forced to buy or sell at any price, nobody is being cheated, it's all part of the money flow. If you think your market strategy is the only valid one I must politely ask you to follow your own advice.

Is there any advantage to purchasing AMC vs ActiveMining shares? I know they need to be tendered but are the ActiveMining shares going to pay dividends?

BS.

You don't understand the driving force behind price manipulation - it's all about taking other shareholders money off them by dirty means - period.

For a start you don't go on the official thread telling people you are going to watch them buy into the market then dump a big one all over them. Where do you think the short term profit comes from. Money from thin air? It comes from sellers who scare after buying into the (manipulated) rally then because they see price falling (manipulated) panic sell. Or investors who won't tolerate price below a level so they too are compelled to sell. Both ways shareholders loose money which goes straight to the speculators pocket. Speculate all you want but don't come on here telling people you are going to  take their money off them that is either depraved or extreme naivety.

This thing has just blasted its way up in BTCT, I can't beleive its at 3x what i bought for only a week ago, wish i had some more bitcoin in play money then the measly 05BTC i began with!

is there a forseeable roof to this thing? I'm cautiously moving my options to match the steep climb, and can't risk being caught short if this thing gains another 20% in a day.

that said, ive had some good luck selling options at a profit, re-investing the premium, and re-buying shares at little/no loss by the price when the call is carried out

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
