SDICE bitcoins yet to be cashed out. Should see some more volume and a closing of the gap between BF and BTCT.

it's official, I hate bitfunder

bitfunder: "we're paying our lawyers to find out how to make this a legitimate business"
btct: "fiat?  what fiat?"

I think the second approach is best.. it only gets messy when you convert to $

You've misunderstood. Bitfunder don't work in fiat and nor do btct. Unless you meant the fiat world, which you can't ignore forever due to securities legislation I'm afraid.

However, bitfunder are working their nuts off, apparently, to keep the risk of being shut down to a minimum and becoming more compliant long term. Btct are a decent exchange but, having done hefty research and read their posts, I think they're in the more precarious position of the two (get those servers moved!).

Both exchanges take care to ensure share ownership is published and both seem well looked after outside of this issue. I don't know anything about havelock.

I don't see why.

Step 1. Wait for massive (20-30%) gap in pricing difference between BTCT and BF.
Step 2. Buy or sell on BF.
Step 3. Wait 24 hours, the price is where it was on BTCT 1 day ago.
Step 4. Profit.

It really seems like prices on BF are just lagged behind BTCT, but they are generally trending in the same direction.

Some have waited longer. Ken will get to them. Your shares are safe and you won't miss a dividend.

I'm sure they're working their backside off to reduce risk, but find Burnside's posts to find out. Back on topic here...

The Bitfunder wall is moving. Will we hit 0.01?!

I didn't do anything and the shares were transferred over by themselves.  Kiss
I don't see my old buy prices but at this point I'm okay with that, I know about what they were (.0034'ish) and I can do the math myself if I want.

If you're waiting a week then it means they didn't get your email.

Retry the email and also PM kslaughter with the information and it should be done today or tomorrow.

BTC-TC auto converts the shares. Bitfunder shareholders have to Tender them and Ken has to process those manually.

I just sold 4000 shares at 0.0094, a 100% profit for me.  They were gone in 10 minutes.

Why has the share-count increased on BTCT.co today?

It's at 3069481, and was previously at about 2950000.

That's roughly 120k new shares sold today.

Good catch - and yes this is worrying. Other then Ken just issuing new shares I don't see why this would happen...its happened before..
