Just a warning, don't withdrawal DERO from Stock Exchange. I have a reasonable amount lock under "withdrawal error" (balance is now zero). Placed a ticket and support says the dev will look into it (about 24 hours ago, no change).

Will let you know of any update....Hopefully I haven't lost my coins :/

Their DERO withdrawals weren't temporarily disabled?

all ok with you http://pool.dero.io/ ?
my stat not work, write Connection error(

Hello air133, the pool is currently in sync and finding blocks. If you're one of the miners on the official pool like myself, you will still get paid. At the time of writing this post the "your stats and payment history" information is not being updated. Having said that, even if your pending balance starts to back up the pool owner will manually process your payment with the same low fees without delay.

The pool support is on a flight right now, but it may be worth noting that they have all of the appropriate notifications enabled to monitor their pool essentially 24/7/365. I can't speak to an exact timeline regarding the stats fix but it only requires a minor (miner!) update to fix. To touch on the commitment level of the development team (pool owner), I've had several conversations with Capt right up to the point where Capt's various flights started taxiing down the runway and resumed the conversation before even disembarking the plane.

Pool support has a concise message waiting and I will be closely monitoring the pool's status to provide an update as soon as it's available.

Thanks for keeping us up-to-date.  I'm one of the affected miners and will wait this out.

Their DERO withdrawals weren't temporarily disabled?

Stocks.Exchange seems to cycle the functionality of their Dero withdrawals on and off with irregularity. It appears that the withdrawal feature is currently enabled.

We strongly advise that everyone keeps their withdrawal size to 30 Dero or less at this time to avoid any potential errors on Stock.Exchange's side.

When I observe the behavior in other communities I see promises, hype, and plans that often don't come to fruition. In line with the spirit of the Dero development team, we're quietly taking our exchange related matters very seriously. I rarely give assurances in this world, however, I can assure the community that your collective patience will be worthwhile in the end.

DERO: Privacy + Smart Contracts

Dero at present is a code fork of Monero (Helium Hydra) with the Bytecoin CryptoNote protocol.
Dero will be a completely new blockchain technology integrating the CryptoNote protocol with new smart contract controls.
Dero is being rewritten from C++ to Golang (Google Language) to bring together CryptoNote and smart contracts on the Dero blockchain.
No ICO just hard POW mining Smiley

CryptoNote protocol implementation in Golang is almost completed.

I had all but given up on getting my test deposit of 10 DERO back from S.E, but thanks to you I just retrieved my wayward coins. Those idiots really need to get their act together before even the greenest newbie on here is aware of how much they suck.

Hi CapDero and Serena,

How about we get DERO in a crypto podcast? I think it would be great(free) publicity. There are tons out there I'm sure they all need material, so I can't imagine it would be too hard.

Okay... I just bought some DERO from stocks.exchange... I tried to withdraw 30 to my wallet and got "withdrawal error" .... So I tried to open a support ticket and it wont let me....

... I tried a second withdrawal for 0.2 DERO ... the withdrawal says "success" ... however in my actual wallet I am synced to the network and it says "Balance: 0.000000000000, unlocked balance: 0.000000000000" ... I tried typing "refresh" and "balance" ... and still nothing.... any help for someone unfamiliar with cryptonote??

Edit: Received the 0.2 just now, I see what the problem was, transaction wasn't confirmed on network

I don't recommend to withdraw more than 29.07 DERO each time on stock.exchange. (0.07 are fee)

Daemon stuck again, this is a third time during last two weeks just on our pool, but the problem is actual for any pool, even official pool has problem yesterday and several days ago.
Dev do something!

Adding duplicate daemon will not help, every time height match broken - i needed to check logs and other pools heights and blocks to analyze situation.

Seems that the official dero pool at poor.dero.live is very bad in connection (I can't connect it from time to time), very often it loses sync with the rest of network. And in fact the thing what it is doing is constantly 51% attacking. I recommend the pool owners to stop the pool or I personally lose any trust to this network. It is very bad to lose mined blocks because of this unstable but large pool doing it's own blockchain regardless of others.

Hello everyone, the Dero development team is aware of the forking issue and has escalated the priority of the problem so that it may be resolved immediately.

Thank you everyone for your patience and I would like to add that a fix is very much on the way. Our wonderful development team just needs a small amount of time to implement it.

Seems that also somebody (may be maliciously) is building very long alternative blockchain. I don't understand why.
Pool at dero.tech, for example, shows constantly extending blockchain with different (lower) difficulties, now its length is 40240 (official blockchain has 40245), seems that it's forked at 40213. Please be aware of that.

If you want us to mine at pool.dero.live, please fix its network issues. They are quite annoying.

Hello cotinco,

We really do understand your concerns and have escalated this issue to a top priority. The developers are actively working on this issue right now and there should be a resolution very shortly.

It looks like there may have been more than one pool pushed out of sync but the pool operators are getting them back online.

As a miner myself, I know where the community is coming from. I've got an investment into mining equipment so any time something like this occurs I feel it as well.

I can personally assure you that the Dero development team is already on the case with vigor to resolve the issue.

Edit: Our development team has rewritten nearly the entire CryptoNote protocol and are incredibly well versed with the code. A real solution is being worked on as we speak Smiley

Thank you for your work!

Sorry for some bad words but I hate losing money Sad And it happens 'cause of that forking issues, it's very annoying.
I still don't understand the person growing the alternate blockchain on and on, now it's 40250 (official 40256). I've just checked that the exchange is on the right side of the blockchain (the only reason I thought why it could be done). Hope the alternate will never get alive.

Good luck to all dero project and to your team!
