Howdy all... Quick question.... I noticed alot of the pools on sexcoin website are dead, aswell as the many of the services links being defunct such as coinpayments.net no longer supporting sexcoin. Also the contact form doesn't even seem to work on the site.
Is sexcoin still alive and well, or am I mining a potential "zombie coin"?

Hi SXC community. I have run the sxc faucet, free-SX.Com, for almost a year now. It's been a hell of a ride during that year!! If any of you are familiar with my faucet, especially during it's early days, I think you might agree, "Lmao". Anyway, I can't afford to renew the hosting that expires on the 28th of this month (April). I have put a good amount of work into it and I think, if I do say so myself, it is the sexist faucet ever. I do not wish to do SXC a disservice or damage in anyway and I am not doing this because of any lack in faith of SXC. The sexcoin community and devs have been nice to me over the past year (hey, where is the forum? I miss saying hi to my fellow perves. Haha) If anyone may be interested in doing a godaddy domain transfer, I am down. I know some other sites (thank you) link to the faucet and I don't want to be the one causing waves / broken links for any coin's community but, at this point without being able to justify the expenditure ($~70), I will be letting it expire. The faucet's payments must be sent manually every round. Rounds can be throttled via referral entries / user max entries / time between multiple entries / round limits so rounds close at a desired frequency. I would, of course help make any transition as pain free as possible and assist anyway I could. PM me if you have any interest. Oh yea, To The Vagina! I mean Moon

Vote for Sexcoin on Coinpayments.netCoinpayments.net is the largest multicoin payment processor. This would be a huge opportunity for Sexcoin and would allow the thousands of merchants connected with Coinpayments to begin to accept the currency. https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

They also don't seem to have a presence here anymore as I see many inquiries being addressed by other general users rather than the sexcoin team. Shame really, I had big things planned for this coin....

You can talk about 'big things' on this forum but the fact is that the team doesn't like to be 'available', I was in contact with them briefly and set up the Sexcoins page here: https://www.facebook.com/sexcoin.official?fref=ts however when I tried to get someone to update links to a new page no-one responded. I still think this is the only viable 'adult crypto coin' but someone has their own plans and they are keeping them close to their chest I guess

I had big things planned for this coin....
And what prevents implement these plans? What's the difference where developers? Coin alive! I buy periodically until the price a little -) Hey Sasa, the main thing that prevented us going ahead with using Sexcoin is that support by the developers is quite important to us. We have a pretty big chunk of change invested in our projects and if the developers of sexcoin aren't proactive it's quite a risk from our perspective. We aren't looking to implement multiple crypto's, rather we would like to exclusively use one that fits in with our target audience and work with the developers of that coin. I could be totally wrong and the dev's have something big planned, but from our initial investigations, things seem to be winding down not up (IE: Sexcoin dedicated forum is now offline too). We'd have even be happy to take over the coin and drive it, aswell as our projects, but we didn't get any response to our attempts to contact Sexcoin developers, and we've pretty much exhausted all communication channels. Unfortunately we have had to investigate other options at this time so SXC is no longer on the radar for us moving forwards... Can't say we didn't try But best of luck to you, and everyone supporting the coin, I hope your investment pays off!

I dont know what happened, everyone just disappeared all of a sudden. There is an alternative digitaldoxy, you could try to get in touch with sxcer and take over the development of the coin. Then you could intgerate it into your project and have more of a direct control over it. Last time i heard anything the latest update was almost done and just needed some testing. That is an option

The dev team have put a ton of work into this project, so it would seem very strange to walk away at this point. I still think the lack of developer involvement is more reflective of the current crypto scene rather than loss of interest in the coin succeeding.
BTW - I spoke to digdug on sxc forum 2 weeks ago, and it seems lavajumper was logged into b talk last month. I expect to hear from them very soon.
