They didn't. Above the trading part, there are 4 boxes where you can promote your coin for paying a fee. Another method to make profit, which pump&dump / scam devs are happy to pay in order to gain more attention on their coin.

Edit: No that doesn't mean that every coin appearing there is scam or p&d
