It's not new as long as there's money involved it can be used in any types of activities, there are a lot of news that spreads some of them were true and some are not in which they use Bitcoin to be the mode of payment in every transaction they made. Some of the syndicates or criminals took advantage of the anonymity as they can effectively transact with other groups without sacrificing their identities plus since the market is decentralized it is hard for the Government to track them down. Much worst some of the officials engaged in such activities (Conspiracy Theory).

Yes it can use in illegal activity because bitcoin is can hide your identity when you use it, so some people use it to make transaction like illegal drug, weapon and all the crime you know just name it , they use bitcoin as tool for payment because they cannot trace by authority or in any people who obey in the government.

maybe for some countries bitcoin is still illegal but bitcoin is still accessible and I think it depends on the intentions of people who access with what purpose I feel if for a certain investment for the benefit that is useful for us personally and the crowd

In that case, people would first stop using fiat currencies such as the United States Dollar. Because the USD and EUR banknotes are the preferred medium of payment during street drug purchases. And as far as I know, the volume of street drug purchases are much more than the volumes in various dark markets.

Actually that is an old news. Back then when Bitcoin is fairly new, Bitcoin is widely use for illegal activities such as tipping for porn sites, drugs and money laundering. Because it is capable of hiding your identity or fully anonymous who transacts, it is prone in such activities. Bitcoin is not used solely for this but because of its characteristics as a currency, it can be taken advantage in doing so. That is also the reason why it is being monitored by the government. They can’t track and locate who makes the transaction though it is publicly published. If they can come up with a solution to this then Bitcoin will be widely accepted by any country.

If bitcoin is using for some illegal activities so I think it’s a very bad thing and it must be stop and I will advise to bitcoin to fix this problem because bitcoin is here to help us in a good things not in a bad bitcoin is actually heeling humanity and those who are using bitcoin for illegal activities so a day will come that they will feel regret that’s why I’m always telling to every one before going to join bitcoin you must study bitcoin that why it’s here.

Well not everyone is doing this and not everyone is accepting it, if people are making a lot of bad things with bitcoin then it is not bitcoin fault but the fault of user so we cannot blame bitcoin for it. And if some people are buying bitcoin and still they are using it for good and for legal activities. When I hear about bitcoin for the first time I thought it must be something illegal but when I get into it I get to know bitcoin is not illegal but it is very beneficial for us.

Do not worry about that. People who have good thinking will still use bitcoin. Why is bitcoin often used in crime deals? Because it is anonymous and difficult to detect. People who think well would think that even with real money you can still commit a crime. So this is just a small problem and becomes a spice in the development of bitcoin. The transactions made are being known only by the users and can not be tracked by the authorities especially the government. Because of this, illegal transactions/activities may take place.
