From recent news in India it is heard that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..I know its a currency and it is also used as a normal money... but these can create a bad space in people's mind that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..so they will not use bitcoins... Conclusion is that BTC is also a currency which is having a high value in the market..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.
The only reason why I consider your post sensible is that Bitcoin is a new kind of currency that is not yet very familiar to a lot of people. At this particular stage, it is bad if it is going to be significantly associated with the illegal world of drugs, arms, and other illegal stuff and services. But aside from that, I do not think it is a very vital point that Bitcoin is used in illegal transactions. Our old fiat money is way dirtier and corrupted as compared to Bitcoin. |

Generally, the nature of bitcoin is its decentralized nature and volatility. Bitcoin has been used as the main currency under the dark web in purchasing illegal products, activities, services and drugs. Since it is decentralized, the government cannot regulate its usage and utilization under the market- which explains its volatile price. This is the reason on why some countries prohibit the use of such since it affects their criminality, especially in underdeveloped countries. bitcoin is made to simplify many things there are people who use it in a positive way there is also a negative, very unfortunate there are people who use it negatively it will damage the good name bitcoin.
The name of bitcoin has the reputation and if there is illegal activity it is not bitcoins fault you need to look at the people using wrongly the bitcoins. Due to existential crisis and media, it created a stigma towards the usage of bitcoin, which resulted to world-wide prohibitions of some hegemonic countries that significantly reduced its price before. Well, this depends on how each individual views bitcoin, whether for investment purposes or as an alternative currency. |

This statement is not entirely accurate, some countries accept the MOF, so the MOF will be legal for the holders. But in some countries that do not accept BTC they would be illegal.

it is a human error instead of bitcoin, if any group or person uses their bitcoin as a tool of forbidden transactions, of course it needs further action, because it could damage the name of the bitcoin itself, and it impacts us miners, bounty workers, or bitcoin investors

It will be possible because of bitcoins' being decentralized. Anonymity is a criminals best friend so it would attract a lot of people on that kind of business. But if ever that happens, government would ban cryptocurrencies and it's value would eventually depreciate. This is why bitcoin should not promote anonymity, it will soon be the cause of bitcoin will be a tool for criminal activity. |

Here in the Philippines, there was this recent news about this Bitcoin Scam where a group of scammers will offer you to invest money to them and then after 16 days you will get plus half of the money you invested. It was called the NewG Company headed by a certain Arnel Ordonio and his wife, Leonady. They made NewG Company and promoted Bitcoin as their form of payment to lure their victims which are mostly rich people who wants to earn double amount of money they invested. How much money did they get from scamming people? 900 Million Pesos. That is a very huge money here in the Philippines. So the lesson for us is that we have to be more extra careful and vigilant in trying to invest money because if we will become ignorant, we can be victims of these evil scammers which are just waiting for another victim. Goodluck everyone in investing money for the future!

I'm not involved in any illegal activity but I'd like to know how many mobs prefer being paid by btc instead of US dollars  Cash (and much better USD) is still the preferred currency for illicit activities |

Bitcoin is a currency through which the transaction is done. It allows different agencies to take advantage of their transactions. Bitcoin is currently being used in many countries. I do not think any illegal activity has been compiled so far. Bitcoin is a fair crypto currency it is invisible and trustworthy scales.

The government can resolve this issue by legalizing the soft-drugs such as weed and LSD. It is the prohibition, which is fueling the rise of drug cartels and illegal drugs smuggling. Apart from that, the government should stay away from crypto. |

I think they are too negative to say that bitcoin is just illegal activity, but many people use bitcoin as a big profit investment, many people choose bitcoin because of its safety and its benefits, and that says bitcoin for illegal activity is those who do not like bitcoin. |

If someone use bitcoin in their illegal activities bitcoin will have negative side in the people outside the bitcoin world that is why the price maybe regulated and leads to get red, because of that reason. |

Bitcoin can be use for illegal activity since we cannot track those bitcoin user whos involve in any illegal activity but since fiat money has been used illegally so i think it will not be a problem for bitcoin.People should understand that bitcoins like any currency would be used for illegal acitvities.

Bitcoin is a tool that can be used by bad people for there illegal activities. Anonymity frature of Bitcoin is somehow welcoming this kind of activity due to its function that to require less personal information about a person who owns account here.It enables some people to steal and scam without any trace for them which leads us to be vulnerable to this.

A lot of people think that Bitcoin is a virtual currency and a lot of people give it up before. Now many countries are trying to get Bitcoin out of the market because of the enormous impact it has on the economy. , there may be fluctuations if not timely. |
