Some Suggestions for the Poker Site:

If the poker site is going to be a success, I think it needs some work and a concerted effort to get it up and running. Some ideas to get the ball rolling ...

Freerolls

I think that rather than offering 50 coins/chips to each player as a promotion you should consider running freeroll tournaments with a 50 or 100 coin prizepool. This is a good way to get people to sign up to the site and 'give it a go'. Hopefully when people get knocked out of the tournament they might give the cash games a try, so it would be worth ensuring there is at least one cash table running during the tournament.

This weekend could be a good opportunity to get them running with a few tournaments staggered so they are suitable for different time zones. Maybe someone could produce an advertising flyer to post on some of the forum pages?

Blinds

The blinds seem odd for the NL hold-em, currently 0.25/2. Normally the big blind is double the small blind ie 1/2

Buy-Ins

The most common maximum buy-ins are 100x the big blind so they seem a bit high on the site. The trouble with large relative buy-ins is that they favour the better players and weaker players tend to go bust more quickly. I would suggest the following blinds and buy-ins and to concentrate on NL hold-em;

1/2 (50-200)
2/4 (100-400)
5/10 (250-1,000)
10/20 (500-2,000)
50/100 (2,500-10,000)

Rake

On-line industry standard is to charge 5% rake, I think you could get away with charging 2% and recouping some of the promotion funds  Wink

Made a little navigation so its easier to reply and read!

a) I agree with you, but had never thought of doing this. More then willing to get a few tournaments set-up with 250-xxxx CSC prize pool depending on the amount of players involved.
If you want we can talk some more about this and have one setup for this weekend? I could take care of the flyer in a few minutes.

b) had set them like that just as it was only my friends playing while i was on. We can get a list of games going if you want right now,
If you'd like to send over a list of 2+ games and the details that they should have ill add them right away.

c)Understand where you are coming from, had them like that for when myself and some other were playing. We can change these with the games above!
Going to make some changes now so that there is games available for everyone even tho the player base is currently low.

d) Rake is currently 0% but can be turned on at anytime and using the 0% as an incentive atm

Thanks for the input and i can make the changes right away!
If you send over a list with a dozen games ill be sure to send you over a nice donation to your address.

Correct!
or you can find it at casinocoin community or casinocoin website

Everyone who is interested in CasinoCoin should be posting on our forums as well! This is "bitcointalk" and they would like to keep us in these alt sections which are now filled with numerous alt coins that have little to no value and hide our potential. I will continue to stay on these forums posting under this account, to reply to questions, and chat about Bitcoin. If some people get onto the forums and make posts/chat there ill be over there!

It's all a bit technical now for the avarage user to get hold of casinocoin.

We can see on cccitypoker.com, which is a very nice website, that to get hold of CSC you need to go to an external exchange AND you need Bitcoins to get them, so you need to first go to a fiat to BTC and then to cryptsy for BTC to CSC then cryptsy to cccitypoker.com.

This is ridiculious. Do you really expect the avarage users to bother reading up how to do this, and besides, it sounds like a scam when it's so hard to deposit your money.

It should take fiat directly (via credit/debit card), then automatically exchange fiat to CSC to use as 'play money' and then when they want to cash out they can be given the option of withdrawing CSC to their private offline/locally stored wallet, or they can cash out in fiat (with an automatic conversion done for them, just like the deposit). They should then be made aware if they do send to locally stored wallet that they can send them coins to any other casino that takes casino coin which saves them entering their card details on multiple casino websites, and/or they can sell them coins for fiat directly on an exchange if, say their favourite casino is offline or goes out of business (to ease their mind and offer security).

I would have thought this would be common sense. It's a shame that whoever made this website did a lot for looks and gaming functionality, yet made it so damn near impossible for the average user to actually use it and spend their money at their casino.

If we want to make it big we HAVE to start including the non-technical minded people which is 99.9% of the population. The PC did it. Smartphones did it. Why can't we?

Anyway, this project still excites me due to its potential and benefits to not actually technically gambling with 'real (fiat) money'. If done correctly this could be a great coin to watch.

I will respond more thoroughly later when I'm not on mobile, but really.. Don't you think we would have thought all of these things over. The whole point of casinocoin is to eliminate the need to use a credit card/third party to deposit money.
Using any form of credit card/fiat processing would also require multiple licenses(tens of thousands of dollars). I understand exactly how difficult and hard it is for someone to get csc at the moment. We are working on a method to deposit ltc or btc to the website and you recieve chips and can only cashout in csc but first will need a massive amount to back the wallet.

edit: Although i do agree.. It was a bit of a bad move on my part to release this when there is 1 no way to purchase csc directly, and two no payment system open to other casino operators. There is simply not enough resources on my end to make either of those two happen beyond allowing ltc/btc - CSC at the poker website with the option to cashout in CSC.

Making deposits in BTC, LTC or whatever other currency for that matter is not an issue. All big exchanges have API's for automation of all transactions. So you could create an engine where users deposit BTC or LTC and you make the CSC purchase on behalf of the user. In case of LTC you would have to convert first from LTC to BTC and then from BTC to CSC and there would be extra transaction fees in play but based on the actual market info you could give the user an indication how much CSC his BTC or LTC would result in, then make the actual transactions and deposit the CSC to his account. This could actually take place pretty quick if you use the lowest sell price for buying and the highest buy price for selling. For the user it would be all transparent. See https://www.cryptsy.com/pages/api for the api that cryptsy offers.

As @casinocoin points out i think the biggest problem here is not ideas or possibilities, it is the available resources in money and man hours for programming available. If i could make a living of full time working on CSC  i would do so but for now it does not pay my mortgage so i still need my daytime job and do the rest in my spare time. That is why the mobile wallet takes more time than i would like it to be but for now things are like they are. If more people jump onto the CSC bandwagon we could progress faster. Taking fiat directly is a different ballgame altogether as @casinocoin points out. I think if a user only needs to gets his hands on BTC and then can play a CSC casino it would be no problem at all. Using CSC in the background and as 'chips' in the casino would be a great benefit for CSC already!

I just created some sell orders for both BTC and USD against CSC near current rates to get things going over at c-cex. Not tried depositing usd and buying csc yet but if all works people can buy and play with csc very easy. It would be nice if c-cex would support auto-sell feature, then i could have my miners sell automatically at buying price.

Aw I missed it Sad. I am a big poker player and would love to check a game out if we can get a few players Smiley.

What I don't understand is why I can see and register for tournaments that are in the past. I see there are 3 tournaments to register to, but they were all from last weekend.

I would be interested in signing up for a play next Saturday. It might be good fun! I play a lot of online poker through PKR.
