Thanks for the update.

 It still sounds like you have developed a back end system that could become available to other cryptos.....  even if it is awesome and unique to CSC (for now.)  I really hope that Casino Coin will enjoy significant first mover advantage from your efforts. We will need to get the word out fast!

Technically, yes the system could be used for other cryptos. The thing with cryptos is, at least from an API/command standpoint, they are all pretty much exactly the same. I could swap the CSC server credentials with ones for a bitcoind server, and it would operate in the exact same way, same commands and everything. That being said, there are no immediate plans to use the system for other cryptos besides CSC.

Which makes no sense to me. The really hard and time consuming stuff is the backend. So why not do the frontend (the design) properly as well? It wouldn't take much time or effort really.. just hire a web designer on elance or wickedfire and they'll have it done in a 1-2 weeks or less. Especially if they start out using the already existing template, which would make it even easier to customize as they don't have to start from scratch.

Im primarily a programmer rather than a graphic designer (few people if any are experts in both Smiley ). It was Matts decision to use a pre-made design and focus on the backend stuff. at least at first, it would be fairly trivial to implement a new, custom design sometime in the near future.

So, the casinocity is not open yet.
I was hoping for the opening of a real casino and not just the primedice clone :/

Very soon my friend Smiley

Very happy to hear this.  Great!  +1

Has anyone had issues syncing their wallet recently? I've had no connection or 1 person connected at most for the past week and haven't been able to sync up.  Huh

Refer to recent thread posts, I'm pretty sure we've recommended moving any CSC to Cryptsy for the time being!

The casino is online now. Looking very good! Congratulations!!!

a few points in this softlounge:

* Tested deposit and withdraw. Deposit very fast. Witdraw was confirmed by a message, but funds stay at CSCCity and is not withdrawn.

* When not remembering the password, maybe there should be an option to reset it. I rembered it, so I could login again  Smiley

This is a moment of liftoff. The startingpoint of CSC. Yeah!!!  Cool

No confusion. Still syncing with 9 connections. Look at page 77 in the middle and add the nodes in a casinocoin.conf file.

I didn't go through the whole thread so that's why I missed it. Thanks I'm going to give it a shot!

There is a bug with the withdrawals that will be fixed at some point today, and we still need to to add a password reset option. Mostly testing things at this point, trying to work out as many kinks before official launch announcement Smiley

Pools update from time to time. They usually are still running if the site doesn't load - I wouldn't be too worried, just check back shortly!

Guys... Any suggestions please.  I have just downloaded the casino coin wallet.  But it says 0 active connections to casinocoin network.

Whilst I am happy to hold most of my coins at cryptsy for now.... I would like to be able to use a wallet... So I can at least make a deposit at CSC when it opens.

What's the story with the wallet?  Please help.  Thanks.

Make a file named casinocoin.conf and place it in C:/user/Appdata/Roaming/Casinocoin/.

Put in there:

server=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=47970
addnode=seed.casinoco.in:47950

First priority should be sorting out the technical problems, the new wallet, something against multipools /gravity?/, advertising casinocoincity before it is just wasting the gunpowder in my opinion.

@ Matthew:

As it still is a problem for a lot of people to sync at once when they download the wallet, maybe there should be an instruction in the zip-file and a good working .conf-file delivered in the zip-file also, when they dowload the wallet.

A lot of newbies think that install of the wallet is the only thing to do. The .conf is important and forgotten most of the time or they use not the good nodes in the .conf.

I am syncing with 8+ connections, so this problem should not be a problem.
