you can experience it just by looking in this forum, why i said that? user can give trust rating to members that they have made a deal and for the added reputation we have the merit system.

i think we all expect to see something a little bit more stimulating than the trust system on the forum, even if the goal is the same 

Plus, this forum doesn’t use any AI/machine learning to filter out questionable ratings/behaviour

Plus the merit system is very new, untested and many users are not satisfied with it.

And about the acc-selling business: It hasn't changed anything on this, just that the prices are now more expensive for accounts as I heared. So in fact, the merit system helped to get sellers higher prices as a lot of those accounts are hacked anyways and not self made.

buy sell account always has a risk. but, its profitable cause higher rank will has more value than lower. i always hope REPU can be better than merit system

Yes reputation management has a lot of possibility as many said, in a world with a lot of social experiences and with a lot of informations it’s a bit hard to know the reputation of something or someone when it’s needed. Reputation management can become something really important in the future.

Blockchain is only a piece of the puzzle though. In order to be successful (or ‘errorles and ultimate’), it will need to perfect ai, machine learning and other technology.

Yes, it couldn't be that difficult, if they have read their ANN and analyze and read their White Paper and study it carefully then they will know that they have their ways of giving merit which is better than the "likes" system.

for what concerns the sale of accounts in my opinion has not changed anything but rather prices will increase due to the current rank-up situation, it would perhaps be better to replace this system with a repu-type evaluation site that makes level up users really active and useful to community/forum

The current system is a dead end.

They need to try something different. I welcome repu too or anything else.

I don't think any system to evaluate people here is good. I don't even would want to have Repu used for this. Sure, if you really have people who are doing something bad like selling hacked accounts or scam people then something has to be done but the only thing we saw in the last months is that high level accounts abused their power to rate people through the trust system here. And merits is also just a system in favor for the high level here.

It is but on the other side, even if they ICO sells not as good, if the demo is coming afterwards and people are getting more interested in the REPU token, the price could go up a lot So as long as the soft cap is safe, everything is fine in the end.
