Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?

There is always a risk of losing everything. Crypto is still in its infancy, and it is very volatile. With that said, Id invests in Ethereum in the long term. Maybe a couple more pairs, but definitely it's like most.

i believe that such amou ts of money shoyld be separated? too danherous and riskupy to put it i  onesingke priject

I defend myself more from the etherum, and it is usually stable in the rate of decline and slowly but surely grows. This is one of the advantages of the etherum. I think you can try to share it for investing in some kind of ico.

Agreed. If you want to invest all the money in one token, the only choice is Ethereum. It won't bankrupt you in one day. His fall and growth is very easily tracked.

I think that if you have a portfolio quite varied with at least the top 20 coinmarketcap currencies is practically impossible to lose money, the only way to lose all your investment is if all currencies reached 0 value and for that to happen, the blockchain boom has to end and we will close up the forum and head home,:P, because nothing would make sense, I do not think you would become ultra rich, but I think you can generate a higher return than the stock market.

Well, if you invest in one coin, then of course I would choose Ethereum , I think the growth will still show itself in this coin

There will be constantly a risk on contributing in light of the way that the market is unusual , yet you should place assets into more than one coin, I thinbk BTC Ethereum, Ripple, NEO and Tron are incredible

Great. For Long term invest I would prefer you go for ethereum. It's future very bright. It's blockchalin network better than bitcoin. Also it's Erc20 Platform use now most of the big ico's. That's Really great. Besides Ethereum you can invest some other potential altcoins like Etn,Trx,Rdd,Ada,Xrp.Ltc also good for invest

Agreed. The Ethereum have always shown and will show good growth and safe behavior in the fall. I think this is the best option for large investors, as it allows you to get a small income but very safe.

You have the really good amount for investment. Go for the multiple coins. Personally, I don't recommend for LTC. Even I had no investment in LTC coin. By current market, I recommend BTC, BCH, ETH, and EOS. I hope for your long-term means minimum 1 or 2 years.  Cheesy

Before investing in any altcoin, study all the information that is presented in this forum, related to the security rules when using cryptocurrency, how and what exchanges to use and so on.

Etherum could be the one but that big amount should not be invested in one coin, most of this amount could be put in etherum cause this coin offers some possitives moves in near future.

until now I just think Ethereum still potential and you can invest in it maybe for a long time but I recommend you to diversify for your investment not only one token or coin. you can see 5 big marketcap on site coinmarketcap. and invest on ICO project if you want to invest for long term.

Support. Excellent selection for long-term investment. Although I do not strongly believe in bitcoin cash. He doesn't inspire much trust.

My advice is to invest in every ICO for now, all the coins are good but if you ask which is the best, in my opinion Ethereum and Bitcoin are choices, but litecoin is also good, especially for those who don't have big capital.

Cryptocurrency it is perilous investment. On the off chance that bitcoin will be slammed then all money will be. Simply put resources into bitcoin and will have quiet rest.

If the general investment rule, i.e. this money is money which can be lost is met, then it might be useful to follow another rule - diversification of investment portfolio. In crypto, a quick way which does not require any knowledge or research would be to split the investment money e.g. to the top 10 coins in terms of market cap. The risk should still be acceptable and potential gains could be higher comparing to pure btc investment.
