When people chose to join ICO there's rules that will be your rights, meaning if something happen you'll get compensation. Many ICOs fails due to the market condition but most probably many ICOs are not reach their softcap they will refund their investors because that ICOs is not scam or they will extend their project more months so that the ICOs project success.

2. they will give back the money or the amount that investors send to them back to its orginal wallet.
