Is there any reason why no 'unexchanged' coins have been exchanged in the past 5-6 hours?

hey, just started out mining and switched to your pool 7 hours ago, so far so good, just one thing. Currently I get about 5-8% rejection rate of my shares, wanted to ask if that is normal or I should look into my machine configuration?
5-8% rejection rate is par for the course here at middlecoin; in fact, some people have higher rate than that, so count yourself lucky.

When I look into the payment, I laugh a lot. This pool uses a grade-7 algorithm to switch pools. That's why the payout is so low
Instead of laughing, why don't you come up with a grade-8+ algorithm?

H2O, please respond. Unchanged coins are piling up and balance has been flat-lining today.

The cryptsy admin is in vegas for the bitcoin conference. So I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. I made sure it wasn't a fork or anything.

I am currectly sitting ant 2-3% reject rate at middlecoin which is great

Hi, I just started mining with middlecoin a couple of days ago. But I feel like I am getting very low returns. I have an R9 x280 averaging at 720kH/s running 24/7. But my payouts so far have been only 0.0064, 0.0074, 0.0108, 0.00297 BTC. Doesnt that seem a tad too low? I have less than 5% rejects. When I look at the average profit graph of middlecoin, I think I should get more, don't I? This way I think I can actually earn more just mining LTC.
Thanks

Yes, much thanks for the cool graphs. Does it tend to lag a few minutes/hours? or is it fairly real-time?
I collect a snapshot of the data every 10 minutes. The graphs should normally be about that up to date. The last few days there have been issues and the graphs may be lagging more than that, but hopefully they will be back to normal soon. Individual user charts seem stuck again. No update in hours. Main site chart seems ok though (ok in terms of updates, Cryptsy induced unexchanged rates notwithstanding).

What sort of algorithm would you suggest? If you have ideas, why not contact H2odyssee and work together on further improving this (imo already really nice) pool?

The difficulty is the same as as litecoin right now.. is that a coincidence? i have about 1.4mhash I can throw here. But from the looks of some of the people, I would have better luck on hypernova for LTC. can anyone confirm/deny?

LTC is in the mix, so it could be that we're now mining LTC if it's currently the most profitable alt coin. It might be that right now that means that a pure LTC mining pool gives a slightly higher profit, but this pool is mostly for people that want to set-it and forget-it, while getting a decent amount of BTC for the amount of kh/s or mh/s sent.

Main site chart seems ok though (ok in terms of updates, Cryptsy induced unexchanged rates notwithstanding). The graph code may still have some problems this morning but I think I discovered the underlining problem. The server that the virtual machine was running on at Rackspace had problems. I had them migrate me to a different server and my performance issues went away. What was happening was that the CPU would go to 100% while running the graph code and eventually things would bog down to the point that I would have to reboot the server. I did a bunch of work to improve performance but in the end the problem wasn't my fault. (things are running faster now though . Reboots always hung and I'd have to get a tech to help. On about the fifth reboot late last night, the guy noticed there were a bunch of other instances on the same server having problems and recommended migration. They did that some time in the night. So, any remaining problems are probably due to changes I made trying to fix things. I should have things back later today.
