When does the daily payout happen?

Usually 02:30 UTC, 2.30 AM UTC.

But today's payout is delayed due to h2o having to do some manual adjustments. He posted a while back about it:

The payout tonight might be late. No more than an hour or two though, if at all. I need to manually move balances from unexchanged to exchanged.

For ref:
http://middlecoin.com/faq.html
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I notice we have unloaded some now and converted. Not sure what we are unloading or where but that is probably good so everyone isn't frontrunning it lol.

What are the most liquid exchanges for altcoins?

Or for example, if I wanted to trade ltc/btc exclusively which exchange has the deepest most liquid depth of market in their book?

Is anyone doing arbitrage between exchanges or do the fees eat up all profit for that. I would think an infant market like this would have great Arb opportunities.

This is not really for this thread, however arbitrage potential is there between exchanges if you know where to look / time it right. Remember that most exchanges won't deposit until a certain number of confirmations, thus what may look like a deal right now may close up by the time you transfer your coins. There were days when you could make 0.5BTC or more arbitraging with nothing more than a BTC... and I'm sure there are many people way better at it than I

There are many threads discussing this in way more depth... I prefer Middlecoin for mining because it tends to earn me the most BTC for my hashing power. That in turn gives me more coins to potentially trade / arbitrage with

I saw a few disconnects and timeouts around 03:39 UTC, but it cleared up around a minute later and started hashing fine again. I just presumed the pool switched to another coin. Has it been going on longer than that?

No, it's actually been going good since then.  I last tried middlecoin a week ago and it was a constant mess of disconnects, but tonight ever since that picture it hasn't disconnected once.  I only posted because I thought it was continuing problems from the last time I tried.  Last time I had the issue I was not able to post here to ask about it.  Hopefully it stays connected for the rest of the night Smiley  I also notice it reports a slightly lower hash rate than what I am actually hashing at, but I guess that's not that big of a deal.

Great job these last few days, H2odyssee! Smiley And with the pool in general, ofcourse. Your choices and work over the last few days more than made up for the drop in value of bitcoin! Smiley

Update: And I just received my daily earnings: 0.0204 btc, mined with a 7850 (330kh/s) and a 4770k (95kh/s)!

Sorry for doubting, i never thought doge would be able to handle that volume.
Getting over 0.03 btc with only 970 khash is epic.

He also seems to be a expert at maintaining a pool. This is the first pool iv ever had so few stales.
I only have 3.5% stales on both my cards. On a pool with 3.7 ghash that's just plain amazing.
