Hashrate has increased over 2300 MH/s last days, according to my own calculations average payouts has been reduced approximately 20% because of the large migrate from hashcows. However the large increase of hashpower also means we are solving more blocks but divided by all users accepted shares profit margins have been reduced.

for me, the question is why would the pool mine anything but the most profitable coin at any one time? what is the purpose behind mining anything else?
Exchange volume is a huge factor, if you can't sell the coins then it's doesn't matter how much more profitable they are, this is true even with a 10MH rig let alone an 8000MH pool. As the pool gets larger this becomes more and more of a problem reducing the coins that are available to mine, so I think at some point mining multiple coins will have to happen. *

Payouts have dwindled for me everyday witu 10Mh/s of power im throwing at this pool. First day was .2BTC, then .8 BTC, and then yesterday .7 BTC. Kinda crappy
We need another super overvalued scam coin to make big profits.

Individual payouts do not depend on pool size at all. Payouts depend on coin difficulty, exchange rate, pool luck, and how many shares you submit. Nothing else. Those factors all vary significantly... a 20% change from one day to the next is actually remarkable consistency.

Hello all,
Question: I have about 200.000 kh/s availible. Currently we mine DOGE. But, we consider to mine on a pool such as middelcoin.com. Why should (or shouldn't) we do this?
Do's 1) We are short in time, so it will save us some time that we currently use on looking for the best coin 2) Everyday payout
Don'ts? 1) Trust. Are the mined coins really the best?! 2) Do we pay not too much fees?

You are getting 0.08 to 0.07 BTC per MH/s per day? I am getting 0.02, and that's on a good day.

Middlecoin has apparently been mining DOGE for about a week now. The fees are reasonable since the payout is better than solo mining DOGE, from my experience.

middlecoin is unique pool. looks the least appealing but from experience, overall it's better than others. i did it manually for some time, it's little more profitable but much more time consuming. i think worst scenario for pools like this is the owner can gather lot of users and disappear with one days income.

unique cause except for some bugs it's most simple, secure and easy. mining directly or in pool without auto exchange, meaning you have to deal with exchanges, which is very time and nerve consuming (specially with cryptsy ) maybe im too paranoid so i did not trust this place at the beginning, and even now if something will happen probably i won't be surprised, but as long as this wave is fast we can ride it Hello all,

Multipool.us doesnt payout straight to BTC does it? ?? I've mined on there and you only got the coin they were working on, so you had to trade them all yourself for BTC.

People keep trying to tie hash rate to earnings per day. All of the currency values are in constant flux, including the currency that we are ultimately paid in. If you got the exact same payout for three days in a row, but the price of bitcoin went up 5% each of those days, then you made more on the third day then you did on the first. If your payout dropped 5% each of those days then you made the same on the first day as you did on the last.
Suppose it were possible that we had two identical days where we mined the exact same coins and all values are frozen except for the price of bitcoin. Let's pretend bitcoin was $500 the first day and $2000 on the second. You like your first day payout so on day two you double your hash rate. At the end of day two your payout would be half of day one even though you doubled your hash rate.

Hi Guys,
With middlecoin, we really dont need to setup a fail over right? As he has set this up on his end? Funny thing happened I had a schedule set on CG watcher which switched profile if pool goes down, Now I am not sure what was considered down but I just went and checked on the miner and it switched over and I wasted 3 hrs on Middlecoin ARGHH!!! Waste! I wanted to see what a full 24 hr will pay DAMMIT... Anyway I dont suppose you know how the schedule works on cgwatcher? what does Cgwatcher consider when a pool goes down, because when i reset the middlecoin pool it started perfectly again and now I have been mining for 40 minutes. I dont beleive the pool did go down so I dont understand what this scheduler means, I turned off all scheduler at the moment.
PS: Does this POOL have much Down time?

So I used to mine well here, but what happened now is that cgminer can never find the server to retrieve work from. I've tried middlecoin.com:3333, middlecoin.com:8080, middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com:3333 and middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com:8080.
Anything I should be doing other than this?
