The unexchanged balance is going to surpass the balance what is going on? h2o is doing some change in the server or the server is overloaded? When we were mining DOGE, we were exchanging almost instantly, thus the unexchanged balance remained low. If we are mining other coins then sometimes they take up to 3 days to mature. Those of us with Middlecoin since before DOGE are quite used to it That said, hash rates are quite low right now... everything looks fine on my end, but I'm down 2.5MH or so. Most likely our pool luck is low or I'm losing some shares somewhere

I have wemineltc as a failover pool, and CGminer has been failing Middlecoin (over 165 GF errors between 2 rigs today). Anyone else experiencing this? Should I remove my failover pool?

Seems like eu server is mining dogecoin and us server is mining something else, maybe catcoin? difficulty is 64 anyway.

and what is exactly the problem? The problem I see with this is that some people who are mining the most profitable coin will earn more than the ones mining the other coin.

It's probably due to coinshifting. I'm bot sure how the failover pool works. is it everytime main pool is dc'ing or is also when it doesn't get work for lets say 10 sec?

It's probably due to coinshifting. I'm bot sure how the failover pool works. is it everytime main pool is dc'ing or is also when it doesn't get work for lets say 10 sec? I think it is when work isn't available for ~10 seconds. I've added eu.middlecoin as my second pool, moved wemineltc to third tier, and added the "--failover-only" switch to CGminer. We'll see if this reduces pool switching. I only want to leave Middlecoin if its stratum servers are down for an extended period of time, like say during a DDoS.

I just noticed the pool is bouncing around to different currencies like crazy. Something else I noticed was that my lower hash rate rig is working on a different coin than my higher rate rigs. It looks like h20 is tinkering around with things. heh..
Chad
I've been mining dogecoins now for more than 7 days straight now. I never noticed any coin switch. I often check cgminer difficulty and compare it with coinwarz. Only match is dogecoin every time... I've got this running a stratum proxy to middlecoin locally: 2013-12-31 10:15:05,777 INFO proxy stratum_listener.submit # [231ms] Share from '15r271ADbvPkCcENraokEzrRgLrmaSpfc8' REJECTED: (-2, u'Share is above target', u"Traceback: <class 'lib.exceptions.SubmitException'>: Share is above target\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/stratum/protocol.py:192:dataReceived\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/stratum/protocol.py:238:lineReceived\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/stratum/services.py:13:_handle_event\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/stratum/services.py:81:call\n--- <exception caught here> ---\n/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twisted/internet/defer.py:137:maybeDeferred\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/stratum/services.py:78:_run\n/home/ubuntu/stratum-mining-dogecoin4/mining/service.py:100:submit\n/home/ubuntu/ stratum-mining-dogecoin4/lib/template_registry.py:237:submit_share\n")

If I add - Unexchanged - Immature and balance Is this an indicattor of how much I should be getting paid next payout?

balance is the only indicator of what you'll get next payout. some coins take longer to mature and sometimes the coins don't get exchanged quickly. over time you'll get it all but there's no real way to predict when that will be.

I started mining this morning about 18 hours ago, and I haven't been able to pull my page up, and haven't gotten any payouts.
I assume I just need to wait another day and I should start seeing some traction?
BTW I'm mining it with 2.1 mh/s now that I was using for LTC, testing this out to see how it goes.

search by your address on the main page, you don't get the private page til a payout occurs and your own personal page updates less often

This was already reported, but its been happening for days now:
[2013-12-30 17:01:20] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:02:06] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:03:14] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:05:14] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:10:55] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:11:13] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
It is steadily doing that about 20-30 times an hour, it didn't do that at all before 2 days ago. It can't be good for my share rate, it resumes after about 10 seconds each time it drops. If it was a coin change, that would be a "Network diff set to" message, but there isn't.

Payouts are daily if your balance is above 0.01 BTC, or weekly if it is above 0.001 BTC. Once you have your first payout, a graph is generated and updated for you. My second wallet here just stopped updating one day after my PC crashed while using cgminer. I had to make a new wallet in its place after I checked my graph a couple hours later.

Happy New Year everybody!
How good is middlecoin pool for weaker miners?
I've got two miners at different locations pointed to eu server. Miner #1 is about 760 kh/s (7970), miner #2 is about 460 kh/s (6950).
According to cgwatcher, "efficiency" for #1 is around 95%, while for #2 it's 53%. Is there any way to improve the efficiency of mining on a pool with a fixed difficulty using miner like #2? Or am I missing some other factors maybe?
I also have a feeling that earnings do not have the same ratio as hashrates/WUs (both around 1.7) of the miners, but I need more time of uninterrupted simultaneous mining to be sure...
