So right now the question for me is (for being in Europe).

Would it still be most profitable being on US server seeing as my ping towards it is around 190-200. Or am I gonna not send as many shares?

Or am I way safer on mining doge until EU server starts switching again?

Hard to say tbh.

 I decided to skip a Day and do moon coin... I got in there just before the rush died out.. mooncoin are now worth little, Anyway my ventures earned me the best payout of the week. I am now back on middlecoin to see how tonight goes.

MiddleCoin

Stratum discconnect Pool 0 (US)

Mining from EU pool now because of failover detect.

Soon as I saw H2o message that the US is more profitable I switched back to the US

Alot of disconnects in the US server (US server Stats below), i was getting not a single GF, under 1% Rejected and 0% stale.... which was after 3-4 hours of mining on the EU server as Primary.

I am just wondering what he means, Is it despite all of the coin switch DC, US is still more profitable? Or not when I am witnessing all these interruptions? If it's the later well then it's alittle contradicting as it was stated that there is a coin switch problem (code issue) with the US pool and but then H2o says if you get disconnects and Cgminer is not stable than go on EU server. What is classified as Unstable? Because of the coin switch issue isn't it always going to be like this for the US (Disconnects)? So I ask now - is it still more profitable after all that?

PS: Miner switched back to the US pool now... anyway so far now after 40 min of mining with US pool as Primary - 17 GF  0% Stale 1% Rejected
So I have accepted shares  etc....

WHen do you mark it down as being unstable? By having DC's throughout the Day every 5 minutes then once every 30 min then 3 in 5 minutes than none for 15 minutes? <<< This is what happens, so is that Normal? As this is what has been happening all week. I dont get it... I mean This is how the US server has always been for me, Same old Coin switch interrupt disconnection. But Shares do still come through but I am not sure how many should be coming through or not.

64512 Accepted After 45 min
512 Rejected

1500mh/s <<  Because of the D/C issues, I can hear my miner drop in speed and fans slow down every so often, the Mh/s Slow down... Which is why the graph hardly ever shows it at the right M/hs.

My question is - [US- Issues + Coin switches + Disconnects ]  VS [EU-Stable continuous flow of DOGE].... What is more profitable?

For me being "unstable" is a stratum disconnect on pool 0 every 5 minutes consistantly all day long. Enough was enough. I wonder if the us pool has a minimum time that a round lasts on a certain coin?

The US pool is more profitable, but has frequent disconnects. So if you have a large ping to the US server, or cgminer is unstable because of the disconnects, use the EU server. Otherwise stick with the US server.

The EU server is constantly on DOGE for the time being.

The disconnects will be fixed within a few days. They occur on coin switches, and I'll be rolling out some new code to do it cleaner.

The master has spoken...if its more profitable then I will switch back to the US server...

Haha, yeah I have noticed it seems more profitable despite the disconnects, but I am using the recompiled version that reconnects faster.

http://bal3wolf.centelia.net/MINING/cgminer-3.7.2-middle.zip

Thanks Bal3wolf!
The virus total of this was 26/46.. I don't dare using this.
Wether or not its false positives I don't know. hoping some experts on the area will fill in.

cgminer in itself is flagged by av some older versions my nortons wont even let me download as always up to user i dont force anyone to download and use it im using my 3.5.1test on 3 of my mining rigs no problem.

kinda confusing to me if us is suppose be most profitable i had my best day mining on eu made 0.042 with 2.2-2.4mhash.

But what did you make the day before? They were probably unconfirmed/immature coins piled up that finally cashed out.

possable but eu for me is alot more stable the eff of my 5870 and 6950 on us was down to 10% cause of all the stales,rejects and tons of getwork failures im testing out them on load balance now to see how that performs.

When you mean load balance what do you mean?

I am still on US server as primary and I am going to leave it tonight and forget about it and see what happens Maybe do a switch tomorrow. But that wont be an accurate comparison as they were different times. Hmmmmmmm  anyways here are my stats -

US = PRIMARY STATS -

2hr 58 min Mining

Accepted = 235008

Rejected = 4096 - 1.7%

Stale = 1536 - 0.64%

GF = 90

HashPower = 1500Kh/s

So guys is this stable for the US or no?

When you mean load balance what do you mean? should share between the pools you have setup in the cfg i have eu and us setup for my 7970x2 and my 5870 and 6950 mine on the eu server cause they get way to many getwork failures to make anything on the us im just now testing it to see if it gets less getwork failures but still can mine on us and eu to get best of both my pings to both us and eu are are ok not great 100ms to us and 140ms to eu.

put that in the cfg to use load balance in cgminer.

What happens for me if I mine on the unstable server is that cgminer eventually freezes and crashes.

So it's eu for me for now.

I wonder if I might as well just straight up mine doge though.

Funny... they moved us to "announcements" where all the new coins are announced! :-)

But thinking out of the box...maybe we do need a new "middlecoin" coin!

h2o is riding the altcoin wave? Grin
just wait for a while, when those unexchanged are exchanged you are gonna be happy.
during dogecoin rise there were a few days unexchanged keeps accumulating until the daily payout although this might be because he had to exchange manually. I think h2o is waiting for the best time to dump all those mined coins, hopefully i am right.

if you can, do both.  it pays to diversify holdings as well as mining effort.

The timeouts on hops 20 -24 look like they are within the amazon network and don't necessarily indicate network issues, particularly at the end of a tracert and when those hops are within the same network.  It is pretty common for routers to ignore or deny IMCP traffic or limit it during periods of load.

No. Nearly everyone has now al lot of unexchanged in der accounts. If you compare your personal chart with the one on the mainsite then you see that you are not the only one. If the unexchanged change to balance, then you will get them whether you are mining at middlecoin or not.

It looks for me that h20 is mining something different than doge on the US-Server because the people who are mining on the eu dont have so much unexchanged.

If the autotrader is not doing any trades for you then h2o will trade the unexchanged coins manually.

Correct,

Just Ping Middlecoin.com & eu.middlecoin.com

Not trace route
