Hey, so auto payout for >0.01BTC occurs once a week, right?
My balance is >0.0069 and has been sitting there for 2 days past the 1 week threshold.
I see that H2O logs in everyday, however, I have no response form him via PM.

sh*tty payout today, I love it! Because I want the china farmer gone, gone gone from this pool! I want the recent arrivals to leave as well! Be gone! This pool has grown TOO BIG TOO FAST, can't handle the stated objective. The longer you stay, the worse payouts will get. Go join the multipool, hashco.ws or mine LTC, PPC, TRC, DOGE, or other MORE PROFITABLE coins!!!

Won't be home to manage the rig for about 8 months. Perhaps you should leave and mine doge or not be a tool. "You guys should leave and stop making money because I want to make money."

That's the point. why do you think that someone else's hashrate negatively affects your own payout? more than one person has posted this, but it's not correct. you get your share, and this is based on the daily fluctuating prices of not only the scrypt-alts we mine, but of bitcoin. are you aware that bitcoin went from 700-1000-900 this week too? smaller mining operations benefit from bigger ones being here, because it increases our overall pool's chance of finding blocks. you're directly benefiting from the pool's additional hash rate.

I agree with you to a point, but when you get to big like we are now, you cant mine the smaller coins, which can be the most profitable, and we are having problems selling all the coins to now..

I also wants to see the chinise ultra miner gone from this pool until then I switch pool to trademybit. This pool is way to large now to mine the smaller more profitable coins.
10$ payment today is a joke. It was more than 2x before.
Right now the most profitable scrypt coin is Memecoin with a network hashrate of 244.81 MH. Middlecoin is more than 5000% larger than network hashrate.

I apologize in advance if this is offtopic (and taking suggestions on where to move it if it is). I was wondering about the inner workings of middlecoin.
If I understand this correctly, it switches to mining the most profitable coin by pointing its hashpower to one of the altcoin pools? Is there any way of knowing which pools those are?
Also, most alt pools (from what I can tell) are either PPS and take a percentage, or are PPLNS with 0%. So in case of a PPS alt pool are we effectively paying a compounded percentage (both to the altcoin pool and middlecoin)? Does PPLNS average out or is it less profitable than PPS for pool switching? If we are mining on PPLNS altcoin pools then we have a delay in receiving shares, so no immediate trading can occur?

No apologies needed, these are very good questions. middlecoin doesn't need to use other pools, it can just mine directly as a peer on those networks because of the huge hashpower, thus it gets 100% of the block payout with no fees for someone else. Some of the newer badly designed altcoins have to be mined directly on the network or the delays and latency of using another pool would cause a terrible payout percentage. sh*tty payout today, I love it! hashco.ws sucks People will think you're a hater, but I checked closely and yesterday hashcows switched to MNC just as it was switching difficulty UP, and mined there for 20 minutes for something like 40% payout compared to what was available just 5 minutes before. Multipool instead was mining 5 minutes before and picked up half a day's worth of coins in just 5 minutes for a nice 250% payout. There is definitely room for improvement.

Is there a minimal reasonable hashrate for direct mining, like 1% of network hashpower? Middlecoin is pretty big now, but I assume it started out small and used alt pools for mining at least for a while? I'm wondering how it got off the ground if it first had to use middle men.. or am I assuming too much, did it attract a lot of hashpower immediately?

In october it was even lower.
