Not to mention big chunks of MC's unexchanged have a habbit of 'losing' 20%+ value when actually traded.

If you are still mining here (god knows why...), try wafflepool. You'll be impressed, I am confident in that.

After getting fed-up with MC lack of communication and shitty payouts I jumped ship a week or so back. The results are, unfortunately, that I'm pretty disappointed by my payouts on Waffle, Clever and AltCoinPlex.

I think the reality is that, although H20 did a shitty job of communicating since about 2 weeks after the pool was launched, the low profits are more to do with BTC price almost halving in past 2 weeks.

This is a low period, folks. Grit your teeth and we'll get through it. I think the best thing people can do right now is keep mining but not stress over the profits too much. Instead go out and tell people about BTC and how great it is. Tell them it's going to survive the Mt.Gox disaster. That Bitcoin is the future of digital payments. What we all need right now is a stronger BTC economy, with more real-world business accepting bitcoins for coffees and pizzas, etc. This is what will push the price back up - people using it.
Comparing to US dollars is a fools errand  IMHO. If you truly believe in bitcoins future, you should be mining to hold BTC not USD. How many people kicked themselves the last time litecoin jumped to $40 and they had already sold them for under $4??

What a load of bullshit ... I have had 8 days straight minimum +25% payouts compared to this cunt ...

It has never gone below .6 btc per day for my 65m farm

On here is was .18 .3 .45 and some days I would get excited by .55 ...Now there was 2 days above .6 over a period of 2 weeks but when u have 10 sub .3 days ..WHO GIVES A FUCK as its all bullshit ...

BTW i have mined on and off @ this cunts site for the last 6 months ...its always been the same .. 2 steps forward 1 step back

Dudes, it's not a load of bullshit. I tested 2 days Waffle, 2 days Clever and a day and a half ALtCoinPlex - got about .01 BTC on ALtCoinPlex for 36 hours with 8GH... Waffle and Clever returned me .04 - .06 for 8GH. It's still pretty shit.

If you look at dustcoin or coinwarz the profitable coin spikes are short-lived, and are few and far between. A month ago these sites predicted I would earn $2500 per month with my 8GH - now the highest paying coin will earn me about $1000 per month. None of these coins are spiking high, so there isn't huge profit in coin switching.

Additionally the price of LTC and other alt currencies tends to follow BTC, when BTC drops LTC follows. 1 LTC is about $15 USD right now. A month ago it was up around $25.

if you have 8gh/s and only getting .04-.06/day you're doing something wrong...today I have 0.01765077 for 1.5Mh/s & 0.01439347 for 1.2 Mh/s on Waffle.

. . . and the attention seekers still continue to troll for attention. Roll Eyes

. . . and the popcorn eaters continue to watch and laugh at them

So, you take a fork to the knee and that's ok with you?  That deserves you own eye roll. Roll Eyes

stop complaining about low payments, middlecoin is not about numbers, it's about h2o, he is a god and you all should pay him.

the only time middlecoin was good is when it had no competition, now when first competitors arrived they beat middlecoin from day one and all these facts known and documented, there are even websites to show how low middlecoin payment is compared to others.

so to all the 12Ghs still left in this pool, you have no right to complain cause you know it's the lowest paying pool (for at least the last 30 days) and you still here so pay h2o's fee and eat your popcorn Smiley

they didn't beat this pool from day one...I'd say it started around the time dogecoin halved.  It's gone down hill since.

Some great unexchanged action seems to be taking place for some folks. I'm seeing people with roughly at 16MH/s running at 0.26BTC for the day. Tomorrow then again is always a big question on this pool. I so wish I could come back one day.

Unexchanaged action indeed

I'm haven't even been mining here for the last 24 hours and I gained over .01 just from unexchanged.

What pool can beat that? .01BTC for the day for ZERO Mh/s. That's infinite profits!

(poolpicker.eu just got a divide by zero error from his buggy software  Angry )

But the sheep still follow the herd.

Somebody's exaggerating their payoffs.  I look at the above from Waffle's own page and I see an average payout of ~0.010BTC/Mh

Clevermining's stated payout was 0.00899 with a 30 day average of 0.0119.

Now aside from a couple of days mining the wrong fork, this is no better than what I have been getting at MC from the first day, and lower than most days.

My payout over the last two days averaged 0.0113.  In addition, I show over 0.02 unexchanged--after payout.

Now I keep seeing the outlandish claims about how marvelous CleverWaffleHouse is, but I have been watching for the entire time, and the averages from all three are pretty much the same.

Oh yeah, and as for PoolPicker, it's crap.  None of the daily payouts it lists for MC coincide with any of my payouts.  Some of the days it plots as low were the some best days I have had and some of the highs it reports were low or moderate days.

MC ain't perfect, and h2o ain't God, but that doesn't change the fact that the pool's returns remain absolutely competitive and often superior to it's competitors.

You cand defend h20 if ya want but numbers dont lie most left MC due to the many issues said many pages ago... waffle has 18ghs already most people went there Because they offer something MC couldnt , personally i wouldnt mind coming back except i been sitting on a balance of 0.01 for over 2 weeks and h20 wont freaking process the un exchanged... meanwhile on clever i get paid the minute the balance hits 0.01 i just like transparency and open comunication, as far as profits they are better at least for me than what middlecoin ever offered.

LOL!!!  You guys are hilarious.

I wasn't "defend[ing] h2o," I was merely stating my own personal observations.  The numbers don't lie.  I have been closely following the entire discussion, because "my momma didn't raise no fool" and if there's a better paying pool out there, I'll hit it . . . sadly, there isn't.  Not in any real sense . . . not when the variations tend to be +/- 0.0005BTC.  Unless you're mining on a large scale, that's just noise.

I can say just by transparency, and the fact the pool operator tells people what is going on, Waffle is superior to MC. He is at 17Gh/s and responds to concerns on the forums. Never seen h2o respond to anything. All I seen is a random twitter update.
