I think that bitcoin will remain number 1 in the short run, but this is not a reason to forget about a possible alternative.

It has already been said that it is likely only marketing, but judging by the fact that today the price of bitcoin has dropped to 9900 it is already possible, although I still hope that bitcoin will cost more than $ 20,000

So far nobody can come even near Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the base everybody is utilizing to think about. They have been a ton of assaults against Bitcoin yet it generally turn out more grounded. So I don't figure anybody can come even near Bitcoin for the time being.

I am deeply convinced that this will not happen. Bitcoin-digital gold, was and remains them. Now there are no pretenders to the throne of bitcoins in terms of market capitalization and technology. My opinion: this is impossible now, no coin can surpass bitokoyn even in the next 5 years.

There are lots of coins that says it can beat bitcoin. It would be very hard to beat bitcoin, its popularity is widely spreading, some people who use bitcoins doesn't even know that altcoins exist. Bitcoin is getting more powerfull everyday, and I think its almost imposible for an altcoin to beat it.

There are lots of coins that says it can beat bitcoin. It would be very hard to beat bitcoin, its popularity is widely spreading, some people who use bitcoins doesn't even know that altcoins exist. Bitcoin is getting more powerfull everyday, and I think its almost imposible for an altcoin to beat it.

Yes, Bitcoin has long been the leading cryptocurrency But if the scaling problems are not resolved, people will continue jumping ship to other coins. More and more alternative coins are entering the limelight, and investors are realizing that there may be something better. |

Agree. Everyone can say whatever they want - future of bitcoin/crypto, next BTC, etc... A lot of projects attempted to at least attain even half of the popularity of BTC, but, they failed. And few months from now, visit this thread and more than likely the project that the OP was talking about is already dead. One more person agreeable here! You can say all the things you like or want, but it doesn't make it a reality. Strong claims such as this need to backed with data, like charts sort of thing. We've heard and read a lot of revelations such as this one, but as of present, haven't heard form them anymore. Okay, not all, but most!  The agenda at www.bitcoinfuji.com speaks for itself. What Bitcoinfuji needs is dedicated supporters who are prepared to promote their belief and get word of mouth happening. A few people are starting to do this |

There are many coins out there attempt to beat bitcoin but none succeed, there are some potential or promising as it may look still it can never be the same as that of bitcoin none can dominate it nor surpass it so far, no one can speculate which one can beat up bitcoin when comes to popularity and power and keen investor knew that that is why no matter how uncertain bitcoin is, they still hold on to it and believe it.

the new coins have not even necessarily be accepted by investors and are not necessarily also be able to compete with the other coins would certainly be difficult and even impossible could beat bitcoin. It is impossible that can never happen.

I would say that the Dream is never late and is not harmful. Who can deny the dream that some altcon win will Eclipse Bitcoin, nobody. But if you look at things soberly, the chances of any altcoin very scanty.  |

I also think so. Although bitcoin is not the most technologically advanced coin, it is more advertised and everyone knows about it. In the short term, it will remain number one. On a longer period, I think leadership will shift to ETH. |

new alt coin can not beat bitcoin Because bitcoin is a reputed leading Crypto currency of the world. Many people are entering this market everyday and want some Guarantee.
