Yes, but I am not so sure it it's down or just not showing updated stats.

The number of QRK in my account keeps on growing, although I don't see any stats changing...

So, not sure if complete mining operation down, or only statistics having problems?

What do you think of Bill Still's analysis of the big drop yesterday?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujl9QepFeXE

I like Bill's analysis of money and the creation of the Fed, and he had always seemed to be level headed and informed to me. But here he seems oblivious to the news out of China. (That news, by the way, seems like a very good thing for Bitcoin, but I don't think Americans read it that way.) Anyway, is Bill becoming too much a fan of the cryptos to do objective analysis? Has anyone seen independent analysis that supports his claim that big banks manipulated the price lower? And what about his claim that BTC38 will be the first time Chinese buyers have direct access to Quarkcoin? Isn't Bter a Chinese exchange?

BTER is broken, try and put any coins on there, they have stopped coins being deposited for some reason.

Let's make a list of CPUs and their hashing power. This should help people thinking about mining gauge how well their processors will mine. If your processor is not on the list, post your cpuminer results so it can be added on.

If quark updated their wallet to incorp a much more efficient miner that would be good. So all new people can just mine through the wallet at a decent speed.

Also adding pos for the future could be a good idea.

Didn't know that about BTER.

China didn't ban Bitcoin, they built a regulatory wall around it. They said that it is not a currency, but a commodity, and people are free to use it. But the PBOC was too vague about what this means, so businesses are not quite sure how to accept payments. Check out this analysis:
